atomic-g: its not a waste of memory, its donated memory. it also doesn't use any more electricity to run any app on a ps3 than it does to simply run the ps3.
shadeblack: good you ripped killer apart, and that the discussion was over with before I saw this thread. I work very closely with radiation oncology (I'm a radiation safety specialist), and am studying for a medical physics degree with a focus in oncology, and many many things in that discussion made me wanna smack him around and teach him about the reality of causes and therapies for cancer today. The hospital I work at is about to open a new proton therapy unit, which is one of the most advanced types of cancer therapy units in the world (only five exist currently)! We are very excited here about it, check it out sometime if you or anyone else is interested, just google proton therapy, its very cool stuff. And you are correct sir about there only being one type of electron. There is a particle that is identical except is opposite in charge, called a positron as well. Then there is anti-particles… but thats a whole other realm of things.
Lahmy: Great you brought this to light. I looked at Life with Playstation briefly once, but never realized what it really was or did. I have a busy weekend and work has been hectic, but I will definitely look into this next week at some point. I do have some concerns though, because my PS3 acts funny if I leave it on for extended periods of time. I can't figure out if its overheating or what, sometimes it just locks up. So I'll sign up and do a few runs and see what happens. If I have any trouble figuring things out I'll either post here or just send you a PM.
