xbox360 needs to exist so at the very least there is competition to keep the price down , without it the ps3 would be very expensive
That may be the case. I hope Sony decides to just upgrade the graphic chip for the PS4. They can still use the Cell and Blu-ray, but the price should be a lot lower when it is released.
