Dosen't look like anyone started a topic on this yet. According to joystiq and N4G the new 3.0 firmware will be coming out soon and sports a fancy new PSN. RUMORS showing that it may finally have the emotion engine emulator on board and they may now sell PS2 games in the online store. Anyone have any predictions of what the new fimware will include?
Also there are pictures of a new PS3 system on N4G as well…called the PS3 TOOL. Looks like the ps3 but has a few changes…more usb ports and the addition of the word TOOL printed right on the system. Cool?

August 12, 2009 at 7:53 pm #36973CoryAllenMemberit's not like it'd be too tough. in another thread i remember talking about this lol. they could sell the games for like 40 bucks if they just added in trophies. more money for them and trophies for us lol

August 12, 2009 at 8:15 pm #36988CoryAllenMembernot present but that stuff is still nice lol

yh can some computer wiz plz explain what is so hard for a billion dollar company like sony to not allow music access on all games… its not like it would interfere with gameplay on any game tbh
August 12, 2009 at 9:25 pm #37001slick1986Memberfrom what i understand microsoft has the patent to play your own music on a game and for you to be able to play it on the ps3 the develepers have to make it an option on the game.
August 12, 2009 at 9:29 pm #37002barkiemailmanMemberI think they will add the cross game voice chat. If ps2 emulation is done (which I doubt) there sure won't be trophies for any of those games.
Grief reporting would be good to have as well. Theres an awfully high number of people online playing games, with no desire to BE online playing games…douchebags. I tried playing nazi zombies online with randoms last night…woulda had more success putting my hand in the deep fryer.

A patent for that?? Whats the difference with me playing my PS3 with my mp3 player, or the stereo on?

Well, ps2 games were on DVD, (maybe dual-layer idk) I'd guess a downloadable PS2 game would be between 2 – 8 gigs.
