I did not get an update request when I logged in to PSN today so not sure if ithey apply it alredy.

I got it afterwards….It wasn't available until after midnight here (around 4-5am in the UK).

Yeah, pretty minor update…I don't use facebook so I mainly get to change the color of my profile, and everyone who complained about the look of the friends list before got their wish granted. The only update I'm hoping for now is trophies for PSP!

so… now I'm going to have a rainbow colored friends list? yaaaaayyy….

I am really happy that the browser has apparently improved… I have yet to try it, but I have had many problems in the past with pages not displaying correctly, buttons that can't be clicked, links that don't work, and videos freezing the PS3. This often times leads to me getting out the laptop to do something I should have been able to do on the PS3 in the first place… so an actual real YAY! if this is all fixed.

i have seen a video, and sony have said that this will definateley not happen, because the psp has been hacked, and therefore people would abuse the system and could add any trophy on that they want, but we still all want it. if you ask me i think they are just perfecting it now and making the coding alot more confusing, welol i hope this is happening 😉

Yeah I knew Sony was giving a straight NO to trophies for PSP because of the hackers…

But I realized afterwards that reason dosen't make any sense! Hackers use custom firmware and cannot sign into PSN. So if they are unfairly getting trophies, it wouldn't matter as they could never sync it to their account.

Also, a trophy update for psp would have new firmware anyways. The hackers would have to go through all of the trouble to make custom firmware that allows them to unlock the trophies, and then those trophies would never show on anything else besides that PSP they hacked.

A lot of people are speculating as to why the new LBP for PSP has “Trophies” Listed on the box. I figure that there is a SMALL chance that sony was ready to launch trophies for PSP with LBP being the first game supporting them, but maybe something got messed up and they didn't launch it yet. Anyways, for anyone who wasn't following that story, an email was sent to sony and they said the reasoning for trophies being listed on LBP PSP was :

“Features listed on the box only refer to the PSN experience and not towards the specific title its printed on”

Which seems strange to me as well, as anyone who just owns the PSP knows that trophies are NOT part of the PSN experience, only part of the PS3 experience.

Anyways, sorry for the super long post. I'm most likely dead wrong, but something very fishy is going on there.
