Hey everyone, I'm currently posting this from my job at the video store (it's dead here now). Just had a really funny encounter with a 360 fanboy I thought I'd share…

So this dude comes in to pick up his Elite 360 which has suffered from its 4th RROD. Here at the store we charge $90 for a repair. He and I were having quite the normal converstion about how expensive it is to keep his 360 going and how it sucks that he keeps getting the same problems with it.

So, I just offhandedly mention “Man, you should just get a PS3 and avoid the hassles” to which he replies “No way man! 360 is WICKED!!!” and grabbed his system off the counter and left……yeah…..see you with your next repair in a few months man.

Oh well, I know the guy who does the repairs thinks 360 is wicked. He's probably about to move into a diamond studded mansion from all the RROD repairs that pass through our small store alone. We have about fifteen 360s in for repair right now….Zero PS3's and Wii's…..and a handful of DS' with the cracked hinges.

Anyways, I guess the moral of the story is: If you bring your PS3 into a store for repairs, Don't sound like that guy, cuz you'll look like an idiot.

some people are just stubborn. It certaintly explains the 360's good sales record. Oh mine broke, better get a new one. Oh it broke again! better get a new one. oh it broke a 3rd time, geez but I love it soooooo much, better get a new one. Exactly why I'm glad I invested the 600 fat bills in the PS3 originally, sucked it up and dealt with it,,, and hey, what do I have? My original PS3 still working beautifully. Never have to worry. But hey! If it weren't for these people, we wouldn't have microsoft providing competition in sales to motivate Sony to provide such a good product, and for that I thank you 360 fanboys! YEAAAAAAAYY!!

Yea but most PS3's dont break.. well, they dont break anywhere near the amount of Xbox's failure rate..

yeah sorry about you ps3 breaking but the ps3 and wii have a less than 2% failure rate.

microsoft were incredibly brave to publish that the 360 at a stage suffered from a 34-36% failure rate!

i know they dont break anywhere as near as much as 360s, but im starting to hear alot of ps3s are breaking nowadays.

well say there are a milion ps3's bought, if its less than 2% failure rate that eans for every million sold, 20000 will break down in the first year or two, which is still pretty good when you think about it

The numbers for PS3 breaking have actually gone down since the release.
