ther has been 1 in the last 2 years I wanted to play. that is all

either way the reason I never played is the controller.. hate that stupid thing =/

Alan Wake, Left 4 Dead, Gears of War, Halo, and of course this list wouldnt be complete without Viva Pinata

I do realize most of u r ps3 fanboys and r gonna say u dont care but if any of these were on the ps3 u know it would b in ur collection

No, they wouldn't be in my collection, mate.

And you can't say you 'know' they would be in our collections. You can't know that, it's impossible. I don't like those games, apart from Viva Pinãta, which is an alright game. And Left 4 Dead is alright with friends. But that's it, that's all I would own. Aaaanyway, if there's a L4D 3 then it will probably be on PS3, what with Valve's newfound love for Playstation.

Back on topic;

All you need is LBP2 and you can live a happy life. Forever. Yeah that's right, it gives you immortality. Want it now, don't ya? ;D

(Oh yeah, and GT5 but that's besides the point)

Heavy Rain beats Alan Wake anyday…Dead Rising 2 competes with Left for Dead. Gears of War and Halo are the only two games that are keep the XBOX floating. Those games are endless…honestly, how many Halo's are out there now?

First off, i'd check with my mates and see if they needed anything… Then they could give you the money in exchange for the stuff = real cash…

I'd agree with getting a PSN card, a controller (even if you don't need one you will one day), a decent headset if you don't already and Move if you fancy it… The rest on games and ting' (lol)

I know Sony are taking out a '320GB Ps3 with Move and game bundle' in September or thereabouts so depending how old your Ps3 is you might wanna hold out for that? Sell your PS£ for more money then buy a new one?

Those are my thoughts

AS far as console wise…yes they are…But you are correct in saying that Left for Dead is out on the PC, but im pretty sure Alan Wake is only for XBOX 360.

no alan wake is also on PC. And your console wise statement doesn't make sense cause Ps1 classics can be played on the ps3 so that means that all ps1 classics are considered exclusives…?

Are you thinking of the same Alan Wake? Its been out for two months and there is no confirmed release for it on PC (That I know of).

As far as the console deal…If your considering the PC as a console, then your statement about Left for Dead being exclusive is correct (pretty sure Alan Wake is not on PC, unless your playing it somehow lol); however, If you were to consider “console” as a system where the majority of time being spent on it is gaming, then PC's would most likely not be considered and your statement about the two games not being exclusive would be incorrect…Im not sure where your going with the “PS1 classic exclusivity” idea (I would like to understand). By exclusive, I mean a game that is only being developed for one system (backwards compatibility not included). Therefore, ps1 games would be exclusive to the original playstation system, unless you have an original 60GB system…then congrats! you have a system that backwards compatible. ENJOY YOUR PS1 GAMES ONCE AGAIN!!!!!

And another thread is slowly morphing into PS3 v Xbox. Surprise…

I won't come down on either side but as far as I know Alan Wake was cancelled for the PC. And Dead Rising Two isn't really a trump card over L4D as it's available on the 360.

All that crap aside I'd say hold onto your Gift Card. The thing hardly has an expiry date so why not just wait until something you seriously want comes along? There are a LOT of expensive Collector's Editions on the way and even if you're not too pushed about any of them as their release nears you might see a vid or play a demo that changes your mind.

Your right with L4D against Dead Rising 2; but, I cant think of any zombie game for the PS3 that would compete L4D. Also, I like the free roam factor that Dead Rising has vs the Linear path you have to follow in L4D.

Im not trying to ruin the thread or anything…If it was me I would find a game that I would like to try at least once a month. I know as of right now I have one good game coming out each month until the end of the year. Thats what I would do.
