two words… AD Block.. two more.. NO Script..

keeps my internet ad and unwanted script free.. face it, even though they are supposed to bring in revenue, nobody clicks ads, well maybe 1 out of 500 people do, but once they do and get rdirected to a site with harmful script on it, they learn their lesson..

i personally cant believe how people use the internet with so many ads.. i got to other people's houses and see their browser and it kills me.. lol

edit: both of the above also clean up those youtube popup thingies as well..

I have AdBlock Plus, its that STOP sign under the close button up right. It says ABP.

Just downloaded No Script. I use Stylish+userstyles.org to clean sites from ads and stuff.

And Yes HACKERS!lol

I got rid of Firefox and Adblock, so now i see all the ads lol . At least put ads that are to do with gaming or something, not teeth!

I've been working for free and actually losing $$$ for a good while now on this site. I don't really mind not getting paid for this website since I like PS3 & Trophies, but to be able to give away prizes such as the PSN cards in the trophy guide contests ads are an necessary evil.

Is there any way to get game related atleast ? An uncharted countdown or Modern Warfare 2 countdown as a banner on the left hand side ?

I dont find anything wrong with the ads…

they are not stopping me from using this site, and they are not that annoying.

@ Parnakas – Agreed , i just hate looking at trophy lists now because of those teeth ads , they freeze my screen up sometimes and take longer to load for me . T_T

I dont mind ads either, just ignore them and look where I need to look.

The ad at the top of the site 'You are the 1'000'000 customer' or what ever, generally are happier to advertise on any site,with a set income.

Games are harder to get as in games companies eyes, games only last a certain time which doesn't provide sufficient income to advertise everywhere, big sites only normally.

If a game advertised on here they would need proof that they would recoup the expenditure first.

Iv barely posted any comments compared to most of you lot!! 🙁

Its our fault the ads are on here anyway as these companies monitor the amount of traffic to a site and then look to advertise on them.

Obviously because of the number of hits to APT its seen as a good site to use.

Either that or they are looking to target the number one “poster” on the site. So Ratchet…….do you want sparkling white teeth and/or a flat stomach?
