Aliens: Colonial Marines APT Co-op playthrough

So, with some of us boosting MOH together and what not, I was wondering why not get together for a 4 player playthrough of Aliens: Colonial Marines? I know, this isn't the AAA shooter of next year and the blockbuster everyone has been waiting for, along with that, there are definitely other games arriving on the scene that are well worth our time as well. I thought this game would be kind of cool for some of us to play together since it features a 4 player co-op campaign and is based off of one of the most influential films of all time. Anyways, no one HAS to pick up this game day one as I'd hate to see $60 wasted if this game was shit. Rental is great and if you guys are interested, I'll look into a discounted price on Amazon or something. Hopefully this game doesn't have an online pass so if some of us aren't interested in finishing this list, or don't want to waste the money, then that's awesome.

I liked the way you described the pitch to me so I'm totally down for it one way or the other. “I just think it'd be cool if it was difficult or something and we had to plan and sh!t…” LOL

I'm going to force myself to get the 100% and I'll pre-order it regardless if it's crappy or not. Can't be any worse than Duke Nukem, right? I remember flipping shit over that… I'm optimistic about this one, though. Borderlands 2 was awesome and from what I'm told, Aliens is too.

Seems a worthy job for the Coalition, I think. Those aliens are fcuked.

I kind of realized it seems I listed down all the reasons of why not to pick the game up

The trophy list will be the same as this, but the golds and silvers have yet to be specified. It's a generic list with all modes featured, too, but the trophy names are awesome.

As long as Kristoff isn't too poor to buy the game we should be good to go on this. I was planning on getting it anyway but I hadn't realised there was co-op.

Going to attempt to watched the 2 classics before I pop this one in. Hopefully I'm not disappointed with either the films or game.

While this trailer is very piss poor, I'm still incredibly hyped and my chest is literally bursting with excitement I can't wait to participate in last stands while my crew goes on without me, of course in the most kick ass way possible. Hopefully the tension is on full blast on this game, I want to have that thought in the back of my head knowing that if we're overrun, I sure as hell better save a bullet just for myself This is going to be kick ass!

I'm not showing much confidence? I just posted a lovely paragraph of my bursting excitement for this game Lol, Although it seems now my mood has change from when I first compiled this thought thinking we would play an alright decent game and joke around with it, I'm actually truly hyped up for this with it nearing to be probably my most anticipated. Yes, there are other games coming out which I know will be good, but this has a certain potential that could revolutionize and probably evolve the whole “movie game” assumption and hopefully could be a potential pathway for films or even TV shows that end but still have just piles of mythos, etc. that they could continue in a video game. I probably sound like an idiot, however this game could potentially be something more than I expected at earlier stages

Early reviews seem to suggest that this is gonna bomb (4/10, 5/10 etc). Think I'll save my £30 for Disney Infinity
