2009 has been a good year in gaming and all of u r saying that ur most anticipated game is Game of the Year.thats ok and evrything, i mean i wana ply uncharted2 and MW2 as much as the other guy, but ur forgetting other great titles. not all of u but som. here r a cupl that mite make u remembr: resident evil5, street fiter4, batman, fite nite round4, infamous, red faction, madden10, battlefield 1943, and prototype. all im saying is u can pik uncharted2 and MW2 but dont forget the others.

Uncharted 2

inFamous

Killzone 2

Ratchet and Clank

MW2

Assassins Creed

Batman

Fat Princess

Flower

Demon Souls

Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2

Shatter

BF: 1943

Those are way too many awards , if you think about it , Killzone two behind all the guns blazing , breathtaking graphics etc etc its just another shooter . I know these are your oppinion and i agree and know some like *cough*Uncharted2*cough* will be winning one of the most prestigous awards out there . Games with meaning and a point are gunna win (If there is a best psn game award ) Flower would be your best bet , Peaceful , artistic , and besides the easiest trophy list next to Linger in Shadows , its just great . And yeah , kthxbai?

flower is quite possibly one of the most innovative games for style and control scheme. Its simplicity is zen. Basically, you play as the wind, and fly around to open up flowers to bloom. As you do this each one lends you a petal to fly with your wind. The controls consist of holding down any button to move (accelerate), and tilting the controller to steer. thats it. awesome. Innovation award right there. I'll give RE5 an award for best co op experience. I'll give Infamous an award for best lighting. Red Faction deserves it for having an awesome physics engine. Batman is all around one of the most polished games I own. Uncharted 2 might beat it for that, but I'd rather say U2 is just flat out going to have the most fun multiplayer to date.

By the way, shouldn't this thread be in general game discussion, since its more about things other than MW2?

its going to be between uncharted 2 and mw2… mw2 probebly winning because of its massive popularity.

although some other great games i enjoyed this year are infamous and call of juarez both great games

MW2 will probably have an award, but to be honest, I think infinity ward are trying just a bit too hard. Don't have a go at me, I can't wait for MW2, but from what I've heard about it, some little things make it sound like infinity ward have tried way too much (Deathstreaks?!)

Flower, and InFamous are two games most deserving of some award so far.

Uncharted 2 for GotY!!

RE5, MW2, Assassins Creed 2, and tons others are all great games!!
