fifa 10 looks really gd but batman is my fav so far this year by the end it will be MW2 or Uncharted 2 or GT5 if its out in time

oooo idk what mine will be by the end, FIFA 10 or COD:MW2 probs.

PES 10 demo was terrible in some ways and great in ONE way. FIFA 10 > PES 10 easy easy.

So really, when the end of the year arrives… how will we know definitively what the actual GOTY is? do we go by most sales, most awards, a particular GOTY award, or just still argue out opinions? Take it to a vote, award an APT GOTY medal to what we vote for? Really, I'm curious, how do we ever settle this argument?

It can basicly never end , i mean theres always going to arguments , Knoxie might always love CoD more then Uncharted 2 and vise versa for me . I guess thats the beauty in games , theres always something out there for you and your playing styles , which is why all games have their own little followers .

Maybe we should make an APT GotY's. We make a new toolbar next to Trophy Guides and we vote for the best games in diffrent subjects. Exmp.

PSN Shooter – BattleField 1943 (21 votes) CellFactor: Psychokinetic Wars (6 votes)

Retail Shooter – Call of Duty 5 (29 votes) Killzone 2 (30 votes)

PSN and Retal Shooter – Warhawk(19 votes) Socom Confertantination(4 votes)

Overall Shooter – BF:1943(20 votes) Warhawk(24 votes) Cod5(300 votes)…

etc. etc.

That would help everyone choose the right game!

oh and it would help APT rule the world.

Good idea indeed . Sadly i dont think it would go too far . Often i would see many people just post on the trophy lists in the right side bar and not on the forum itself . Wierd i know , but can you imagine a pole with only like 75 voters ? It wouldnt be really fair to have an even amount of votes on a game with like 65 votes on MW2 and like zero on Borderlands , if you catch my drift .

Besides what would stop people from voting , refreshing , and voting again 😀

Just make a topic, title: APT GotY awards, then hold a vote.

You can vote only once for each category. Then tally them up, and that wins..

that would mean it is the most popular game.. maybe not the BEST game..

i dont know how to solve this.. like i said, its all opinion-based, and some people take it too far…

well… heh, we have until the end of the year to figure this out… I gotta do some actual work at the moment, but maybe later I'll come up with that list… which will be any game released in 2009.

uhhh technically speaking, I guess we should list all of them. I would say limit it to PS3, since clearly thats what we all play… and yeah, there'll be some crap on the list,,, so if you forget to list something and no one calls it out, well, then who cares?
