Knoxie – FIFA 10 is an awesome game.. i never said it was bad.. i have only played the demo, and i say its Sport GOTY for sure..

YES! my first succesful forum and its only my 2nd. i wil make a APT GoTY forum but it has to be in febuary so we can al play the games of 2009.

i actually love FIFA my friend and i use to play FIFA 06 alot

i DO think FIFA 10 will be a very good game and sports GOTY

Like parnakas said it all comes down to personal preferences, we all like different games more then others and thats what makes this an endless debate because we are all so diverse. If i had to state a few of my choices though they would be:
FPS GOTY: Modern Warfare 2
3PS GOTY: Uncharted 2
Racing GOTY: DiRT 2
Sports GOTY: UFC 2009 Undisputed
RPG GOTY: Sacred 2 ( my opinion may change once i play Bordrlands though)
PSN GOTY: Flower owns all

And now for the big one overall GOTY (drumroll please lol) i’m honestly undecided, my diversity in games make me unable to decide. I would honestly like to see a new game that isn’t a franchise and will no doubt get underestimated by most people on here (no offence) win, i can’t honestly say i would be happy if MW2 or U2 win it but that is due to one main reason competition equals a much better product for you and me and considering the quality of games this year can you imagine the great visual experience we’d get from U3 and MW3 if neither of them win GOTY.

Going to the point of calling people “Fuckers” on a forum because Ratchet said ” Are you serious?” is over the limit . Parnakas doesnt go too far , we were given something beautiful called “FREEDOM OF SPEECH” and hes simply using it , not offending anyone in any way . Perhaps you take it too far , maybe i do too . Personally i think we should all stop the bullshit and let the pros and legit judges of gaming decide for now ..

I'm becoming inclined to agree. I posted earlier about how could we solve this and settle the argument, and it was more a rhetorical sarcastic question than anything… but uh… that didn't really come across now. I think by arguing over which game is best, we forget about all the other great games out, that might not be “the best” but are still awesome and deserve attention. Games such as InFamous, Red Faction Guerilla, Resident Evil 5, Batman AA, and even some upcoming ones, like Borderlands, AC2, and Alpha Protocol (which may have been delayed). They're all awesome, or look like they will be, but as soon as we talk GOTY it goes to Uncharted 2 and MW2 and thats pretty much it. Can we just agree that they're awesome and lets go shoot some people? (or in knoxies case, kick a ball around from time to time?)

Of the games I've played so far this year Arkham Asylum would get my vote.

Think that might be about to change in about roughly 8 days though

You cant compare really , both are different genres and i dont recall batman ever picking up a soccer ball in the game so yeah ..

However if your just stating in general , if that would work , i also think there are better games then Fifa 10 but let Knoxie have his oppinion , because im done with this whole arguement bullcrap . My favourite sports game has to be NHL10 !
