Hi everyone here I've got a guide for a fairly simple game to get trophies on Ashes 2009, as it's my first guide I thought id start of easy. Firstly here is the trophy breakdown to see which rank of trophies we've got on offer for this game.

Platinum: 1 Gold: 7 Silver: 8 Bronze:10

All together for this game there is a splendid amount of 26 trophies to get for your ps3.
Here we go then

Tutorial Trophies

These trophies are simple ones just go through the challenges and lessons given to you by beefy and Shane Warne, these are under challenges on the main menu, some may take a couple of attempts but if you just follow what they say to you you'll be fine. All these trophies are bronze.

Master of the Blade
successfully complete all batting lessons and challenges.

Master with the Ball
Successfully complete all of the bowling lessons and challenges.

Dynamite in the Field
Successfully complete all of the fielding lessons.

Gameplay Trophies

Raise the Bat
Score 50 runs in an innings with a single batsman in single player or ranked online match.

The first batting trophy of getting 50 runs with batsmen is the quickest one on the game this should be a doddle for everyone to do.

The Big 100
Score 100 runs in an innings with a single batsman in single player or ranked online match.

The big 100 may take a little practice for some people if you find your struggling with doing this one have a go on a test series and don't rush with your batting take your time and pick out the 4s and 6's when you can or you could just lower your difficulty.

The Double Ton
Score 200 runs in an innings with a single batsman in single player or ranked online match.

The Triple Ton
Score 300 runs in an innings with a single batsman in single player or ranked online match.

These two trophies may take a while or not if your a confident slogger these should be done on a test match as it much harder on ODI or twenty20's, If you're struggling with these two trophies do the same was what I said for the last trophy take your time and pick your shots carefully or turn down your difficulty this can be a frustrating trophy.

Ashes King with the Bat
Score 500 runs in an Ashes Series with a single batsman in single player.

For a gold trophy this can be relatively easy all you have to do is hit at least 50 runs in every innings with one batsman and you will find you will go over 100 with some batsmen in many innings .

Power Hitting
Hit 6 fours in 6 consecutive deliveries in an innings in single player or ranked online match.

The Blazing Blade
Hit 6 sixes in 6 consecutive deliveries in an innings in single player or ranked online match.

Hitting 6 consecutive fours should be a breeze you just need good placement and good timing, you can do this by just pressing the x button. The 6 consecutive sixes may be harder as you sometimes may get perfect timing and the ball will just go for a four, so with this one just keep trying you are more likely to do this against a spin bowler so try to avoid the pace bowlers.

The Hat Trick
Take 3 wickets in a row from one bowler in a match in single player or ranked online match.

This is one of the more tricky bronze trophies and you may need to save the game after 1 wicket and then after two, if you find this difficult trying playing a lesser opponent like Kenya or lower the difficulty.

The Top Hat Trick
Take 4 wickets in a row from one bowler in a match in single player or ranked online match.

This was my most difficult trophy to get and I had many attempts at it I struggled with this 1 all you can do is the same as the hat trick.

Raise the Ball
Take 5 wickets in an innings with a single bowler in single player or ranked online match.

This should be a simple one try to use the bowler you get your first wicket with the most and you should get this one.

If You Want Something Done Right
Take 10 wickets in an innings with a single bowler in single player or ranked online match.

This one is difficult you may get this one when completing raise the ball or the top hat trick, the tricky thing about this trophy is that you might run someone out and then its all over so save your game after every wicket to just start up again.

Nought and Nought.
Dismiss a batsman for a duck twice in a Test Match in single player or ranked online match.

Dismiss a batsmen for nothing in the first innings and then do the same in the second you will probably aqquire this one while on your ashes series

King Pair
Dismiss a batsman for a golden duck twice in a Test Match in single player or ranked online match

This one is a lot harder as you have to get them out first delivery you will probably do this to someone in there first innings so save your game after you have bowled them out and then bat your turn and save then try and do the same again in the second innings just load it back up if you cant. Try to get as many golden ducks as possible in the first innings.

Ashes Destroyer
Take 40 wickets in an Ashes series with a single bowler in single player.

Taking 40 wickets means you will need to take 4 wickets with this bowler every innings so make sure you pick the one bowler you plan to do this with and get those four you may get over that amount and you should be fine on this one, it is just time consuming.

Demolition with the ball
Bowl the opponent out in 10 over or less in single player or ranked online match.

This may take some practice before you can do this one keep trying and you will get the gist of bowling and this will become easy.

Test match Domination
Score 600 runs or more in an innings of a Test Match in single player or ranked online match.

This trophy will take you a large amount of time but if you can keep your first two batsmen in for a long peiod of time and get their score relativgely high you should be on your way if your not feeling too confident go ahead and just pick your shots of it may take more time but youll be fine with it.

 10 Wicket Defeat
Win a Test Match by 10 wickets in single player or ranked online match.

To complete this you will either have to bowl first or if you do bat first enforce the follow on with this trophy you want to get ahead of the bowling by approx 200 if bowling first and let them just about creep past your score then you should not have many runs to catch up to make sure you get it save it after you bowl them out. If you bat first get a score around 400 and bowl them out so that you get them to follow on then do the same and let them just creep past your score.

ODI Domination
Score 300 runs or more in an innings of an ODI Match in single player or ranked online match.

Practising will let you acquire this one you will need a good opening partnership and then just keep slogging, practice will be needed to hit perfect most of the time but when you master it this score should be easy.

Innings Defeat

Win a Test Match by an innings or more in single player or ranked online match.

For this trophy you will need to gain a very high score of about 500+ and then you will need to enforce the follow on , after this you will just need to bowl them out again before they reach you score.

Champion trophies

ODI Champions
Win a full-length ODI Tournament in single player.

20 Over Champions
Win a full-length 20 Over Tournament in single player.

Ashes Champions
Win an Ashes series in single player.

For these three trophies just complete the game mode it asks and these trophies will be yours if you cant seem to do this notch down the difficulty.

Best of the Best
earn all of the Trophies that are inside the game

Finally after you have completed all those trophies you will have hit the jackpot unlocking the platinum trophy and we all love one of these.
