Anyway.. if they set it in WW2, and your a girl assassin.. would't that play like that stupid velvet assassin game on 360? That game was god awful..

I think it would be a good change for the series if they went to WWII. Would the assassin still use the sword arm or would there be sniper levels?

Besides I believe both those guys from AC and AC2 were main char ancestors. Would it be strange to play afemale char ?

But still I think it is a good idea. Lets go with hidden sniper rifle :P.

no, just the current time period cause its a more advanced time period than the 2 other games.

So thats just like saying they didnt use knives at all then . In Assassins Creed II the hidden knives make a huge return with the dual upgrade , so as you can see as time progresses so does the overall equipment of the creed .

Not too say they wont return , just think of it as they will return in a more upgraded way as they did in the more previous games .

i know they used knives but it might get replaced by a pistol with a silencer or something, idk.

They can use knife but not sure if it can be so well hidden. I think it won't match WWII period. But still U can do a lot of cool silent kills with a normal knife, right ?

Anyway the did not fail yet so I;m sure they will figure out smth cool 😀

I will not buy the game if i play a female character beacause it dont have a lot of style. It will be like WET. Also if they are going to put it on WWII with sniper rifles it will be better to put on the 2009 beacause it will be cool to play with Desmont as an assassins by his own

its really hard to comment on this without posting SPOILERS from AC2. I'll attempt.

READ AT YOUR OWN RISK.

AC3 will at the very least have Desmond playing a larger part. I'm completely sure a sequel is coming, and would be floored if there aren't larger parts playing as Desmond. I'd also be surprised if he isn't still using the animus at some point to take on the role of another ancestor. However, that ancestor doesn't necessarily have to be further in the timeline, but could be further in the past. The problem with WW2, and present day, is guns. Theres lots of them. With silencers. Which brings you into a different style of gameplay entirely,,,, which could be good or bad based on the execution. Combine what we have with uncharted 2 or MGS style gameplay, and it could be pretty damn cool. Moving further into the past could be good too, since the assassin technology is clearly old and passed down through generations after being derived from pieces of eden, and therefore have an excuse to continue using hidden blades, throwing knives, etc. Either way, I don't see any reason the next ancestor couldn't be a woman, there certainly are/were women assassin's in the game's timeline. Take a look at the statues hidden in the villa mansion.
