BigWoop – Dude i noticed the exact same thing , the facial animations on Ezio sometimes look really bad , like his face would just be the same for 10 seconds and his eyes have no detail to them . Yes , the voice actors ACCENT sounds ridiculously bad , and actually getting a legit italian voice actor most likely wouldve been cheaper on Ubisofts side . After watching one of MACHINIMAS gaming weeklys they revealed this one part where you have to press buttons to have a baby come out of a womans womb ? Not to mention the part that made me laugh the most ; where Ezios mom says something along the lines of ” instead of Vaginas ” . Sorry if that wasnt necessary , but thats coming straight from the game , and i just find that not called for .
Well that birthing part, you only push buttons after the baby has been born, to control the baby's limbs. Its kinds wierd but its a cool idea. I actually liked that Ezio's mom spoke the way she did, they do a good job of explaining (if you read all the database entries) what rennasiance Italy was like, and with prostitution being a socially acceptable practice, I wasn't surprised to hear a character being straight forward about Ezio going out to get some vagina. He clearly didn't want to hear this out of his mother (neither would I), but she was right. This was a time where a woman's greatest asset was her vag (it still is if she does it right, heh), and they even explain how there were schools where women were “educated” on how to have sex.
On another note, played some more last night, and holy crap, there is a butt load to do in this game. Expect it to keep you occupied for a loooooooooooooooong time if you want to complete everything. I acquired the “disarm” skill, and thats pretty cool, it gives you a good opportunity to experiment with other weapons. You can pick up your enemy's dropped weapons before that, but its very difficult to do (the control scheme just kinda acts goofy, since the same button is to grab your opponent). Its definitely cool to steal an enemy's axe, and then butcher them with it.
I suppose my only small complaint is that I end up holding the R1 button for 90% of the game, and eventually have to switch which finger I use to do that. I often times find myself wishing that it was reversed, i.e. holding the button would put you in low profile mode, and otherwise you're just always in high profile mode, since I'm usually sprinting, jumping, blocking, or whatever else requires me to hold it down.
@Knightmare – if you buy or rent the game, the lineage video is in the bonus options of the main menu.
November 25, 2009 at 3:24 am #50952xxKnightmarExxMemberReally, it's not in mine…mines only got the dlc option, the psp connect option and a trailer for James Cameron's Avatar the game…
Also I thinking, wouldn't it be cool if… *AC2 SPOILERS*,
since Desmond is training to be an assassin by reliving Ezio's life, that you play as him in AC3, only to find out at the end that Desmonds whole life that we've seen through AC1 and AC2 was just another memory being relived by one of Desmonds ancestors in the future using another animus?
November 25, 2009 at 8:15 am #50958xxKnightmarExxMemberand an exclusive content option but u need to sign onto psn to use it

Congratulations!!! Did you go legit on the feathers or was a guide used ?
I might buy the official guide to help me out .
November 29, 2009 at 12:10 am #51212xxKnightmarExxMemberHell no was I legit I used a gamesradar guide to get them.
Also Antony, if you played the first AC game then you may recognise Maria (Altair's lover) as the female Templar that acted as Robert de Sable's body double towards the end of the game.
Shes also featured in Assassin's Creed Bloodlines on psp.

I know the guy above you put a spoiler warning… but for future reference, you should too. Just was reading through these and thought I'd point that out. If I hadn't played all of these through already, I'd probably be really annoyed right now.
December 2, 2009 at 10:28 pm #51557W4RG34R3D_SN1P3RMemberAntony – BigWoops right , most of your posts in this topic are spoilers , so if you do feel the urge to bust out the major climax of the story do so in such a way : ~~SPOILER~~ : to prevent future arguments , hate and ofcourse ruining the game for others .
