I got demoted all the way down to sergeant yesterday… i dont even know how! I was owning in the match!

see exactly. the ranking system is awful. u can get 1000 points more than everyone else and still get demoted

Earl (Countess) -2500-2999

Lord (Lady) – 3500-3999

Prince (Princess) – 4000-4499

King (Queen) – 4500+

Ratchet.. is that for single points in a game? or overall points? Because my score doesnt decrease, and i still get demoted.

Maybe it changes after every game? Like depending how much points you got that game, if you got anywhere between 2000 – 2499 points in ONE game, you would be a Sir for your next game..

I still dont get it.

This is from Titan studios about the Ranking System

First, we should note that we have received a lot of feedback about what people expect from a ranking system, and will likely introduce changes in a future patch. That said, here is an explanation of how the system currently works from our lead designer:

A player’s rank is calculated based on their average score over their last 10 games. As each match is completed the player’s score is automatically updated and their new rank is calculated. At preset ranking scores player’s acquire ranked titles, this starts at “Squire” for a ranking score of 500 points. Players ranking titles can go up or down, but as they are calculated over a 10 game average they should not rapidly fluctuate. Players are also protected by multiple systems, that will not save their score if they have not played for a preset % of the match, if their score is too low or if they are kicked or banned from the game. The top 7 rankings can also have a female form if the female voice is chosen from the Get Fabulous menu.

Why couldnt they just use a regular ranking system?

There ranking system is pretty dumb.. I like the idea of not giving people points unless they stay for a % of the match, but they should have just used a regular ranking system. Its much better that way.

Thats straight from their site. However, the patch they are working on releasing right now will only address critical issues, such as hosting and connection issues. The rest of it will be in future releases, and no day has been announced yet for either. I assume the critical patch is on the as soon as possible basis, but it will need to be tested before release… so… maybe a week? hopefully?

Also – I seem to be a sir on average with the ranks, and I feel like if you're above this you're just spamming for points, and aren't being a team player. I would just ignore it for now, and enjoy the game… since the rank doesn't really give you anything anyways.
