Banned from PSN???!!!

Domba – of course you can phone Sony. In fact, i would recommend you phoning them versus a parent, as you will probably know what they are talking about. Sony usually just tells you to reset your whole system though, or maybe they will just lift your whole ban. Who knows..

Tell us if you figure anything out!

they wont care about your age, my account says im supposedly 22, the person whom i poned just asked for my d.o.b heard it and didnt say a thing. just keep your cool, remember you boguht their console and their games if you cant get the most out of them because of sony then you have the right to complain

Domba & everyone I've noticed a lot of talk of gamesharing on other consoles, I know how the whole thing works, create your account on up to 5 consoles etc. How can you be sure that on one of the other consoles you have an account on the owner of the console has signed in under your name & did something to get you the ban? I'm not suggesting anything, I'm just saying that you can't ignore the possibility.

The whole situation sucks BIG time mate, hope you get this crap dealt with soon.

I was thinking the exact same thing yesterday and got lost with my lengthy post and forgot to say that but yeah that to me seems to be the most probable reason for you to get a ban. If i where you i would change your password for PSN log in and then no one on any of the other consoles can use your account but can still play the games.

I don't use Domba_car to buy conetnt, I use Domba_car2 .

3 people know Domba_car2 password, Me, my very good friend and my very good cousine (I trust them).

Guys, thanks for giving suggestions and posting replies, I really appreciate it. I'll call Sony soon, hopefully they'll be helpfull.

OK, some info about the ban (must read if your banned)

-Your MAC adress is banned, the MAC adress cannot be changed

-You can sign-in to your account on another PS3

-Moving your PS3 to another house will not unban you, cause the MAC adress is banned, not IP adress

-UNconfirmed way of unbanning is deleting all users, WARNING this will loose all your games, game saves, un-synced trophies, pictures, music, videos,… pretty much everything. Remember… UNCONFIRMED

-The ban can last from 24h to forever

Thats pretty much everything I figured out. I jailbroke my iPhone so thats whats been replacing the PS3. But I played Borderland on co-op BEST GAME EVER…. maybe

i have to ask, what did you do to get banned? and have you confirmed this is actually a ban, and not just that you've got your online settings wrong?

Not sure why im banned or if I'm evan banned!! My friend got banned on the SAME day. We gameshare, and we share accounts before the people change the pass. If Sony could look at our messages, the would be mad….

I don't think it's an online settings problem, cause I took it to my friends house and same problem, the error code I get is pretty popular online, but a month later they get back online…

If I need to I would pay Sony to get back online, sadly, they never reply my e-mails. Calling Sony not possible in my country, as I said before, I will call them once I go to Canada, over the summer.

My mates brother got banned for harrasing a guy lol

He kept sending friend requests so he could 1on1 a n00b lol

Damn… I wish they had a list of rules!!! Who knew that was not allowed… Well, everybody did but nobody knew that you would get banned, and no warning!! Cmon Sony! Stop acting like a child! lol

so your saying that you got peoples info for a gameshare then gave their info to another person/friend to also do a gameshare on the guys account without their knowing? well gamesharing is apparently frowned upon by SONY (which i dont personally believe) but that takes it to all new heights, supposing one of the people you did this with found out?, that would explain why both of you got banned the same day. I dont suppose you or your friend sent any cocky messages (i.e thanks for the games) to anyone? that would be the easiest way of getting caught that comes to mind…

however i may have mis read you wrong, if i have then ignore the post
