If you can't afford 14.99 how the hell did you get a PS3?
Stop being such cheap asses and support the game companies that actually make games you enjoy playing.
every time you 'gameshare' you are taking money out of the pockets of those who worked on the game.
Think about it.
It's called a RECESSION buddy. Some people may have had the money, but not no longer. Why waste money when you can have it half price? These game companies could easily stop game sharing, but they don't, do they…
If you don't like it, then why post in this section? The topic asked if a game was shareable, not for someone to complain about game sharing
Think about it…
July 11, 2009 at 8:32 pm #30168kingofgames73Memberwhilst on the topic of things being shareab, when an american buys a video off the video store can that video be shareed? just wondering….because when i go on the american store and have a look at the vid store i go 2 look at the price of a certain vid but i always get an error of some sort.
@ thickbrow you relise that games support gamesharing, you may say that those 4 extra downloads for 5 seperate ps3 are backup incase your ps3 goes wrong but if that were true then why not lock all psn games like warhawk and SOCOM so they can only work on the account it was bought off? but yes i can afford £10 for a psn game the same way i can afford a £10 dvd but if my m8s were with me and we all wanted that dvd we would each chip in a certain amount of money and buy it once, thus saving money for the next dvd (or psn game which is a similar process)July 11, 2009 at 8:38 pm #30169Ratchet525MemberThis game is shareable, my cousin just downloaded it off me

July 12, 2009 at 12:04 am #30188ThickbrowMemberYou eggheads try to justify everything. First making fun of MJ after he just died and now stealing… pathetic.
Those of you who gameshare with people are f*cking Thieves. Period.
The system is set up so that if you own, or your family owns multiple units you can download it on to all of them. Or maybe if your PS3 is stolen or it breaks that you won't be up shit creek without a paddle. People like you abuse the privilage.
You are robbing people of their livelyhoods. Just because it isn't something tangable that you are stealing..you are stealing none the less.
The games are only 9.99 or 14.99. Deliver the f*cking pennysaver paper for a week you cheap fucks.
July 12, 2009 at 12:21 am #30190XeroTheGreatMemberAhh go f**k off and annoy a different site. If you don't like us, then why the hell are you here? Oh, it's OK to share with family, just not really good mates, is it? I can share to my cousin, but oohh not to my best mate who I see more of… If sony were really bothered about game sharing, they would have stopped it by now…
Think about it…

July 12, 2009 at 6:43 am #30219barkiemailmanMemberHeres a little Food for thought
I think game sharing is actually GOOD for sony. Last year when I didnt know sharing was possible I was really picky about what games to buy and just bought a few here and there. Now me and my friend kris have bought almost every game off of PSN as it feels like you're getting everything 50% off by sharing. I added up my transaction history alone and I've spent about $400 so far on DLC.
Would either of us have EVER bought rag doll kung fu for $10 if we had to buy a copy each? ABSOLOUTELY NOT! It literally came down to “I'll buy that and you get ZEN Pinball” (another game we wouldnt have bought).
So for us the sharing has been very profitable for sony. And if you're totally against game sharing, go buy a 360. I bought castle crashers on that and if I sign into my profile and kris signs into his it WILL NOT LET US PLAY THE GAME! It says kris didnt buy it so we cant play, he can sign in as a guest to make sure he dosent get the achievements! Imagine if you have two kids who collect achievements and you have to buy two copies of the same game so they can play together…thats weak!! Anyways, I'm getting kinda off topic too…in short some people are surely abusing the sharing and other people may be driving alot of sales with it…if sony feels they're getting ripped off they'll surely block it from now on.

you make a really good point im one of those people that very picky about psn games and i this day and time we need to save some money anyway we can
July 12, 2009 at 9:53 am #30227ThickbrowMemberI'm just calling a spade a spade.
If you feel like you can justify stealing money from hard working people because “times are tough” or because there is no security in place to stop you… go ahead. It's not my conscious.
… and yes I buy all my music and movies. I support artists and I am willing to part with $12.00 to watch a theatre movie or $6 bucks to rent one. I even buy some of my favourite movies on blu-ray disk at around $20-25 a piece. Songs are also only $1.00 on Itunes or CD's are like $9.99 or 12.99 now.
Again, get a paper route if you can not afford these prices. Using the economy as an excuse is just pathetic.
If you couldn't afford new clothes, but knew of a store that you could steal from and not get caught, would you? Better yet, lets use the logic of a few people on this board. If your friend bought a shirt from the store and then gave you his receipt, would you go into the store, grab the identical shirt and walk out the door with it? Even if you were stopped at the door, you could show your receipt and the store would be none the wiser.
When there is little to no risk of getting caught, or the punishment is not severe, people tend to forget about things like HONESTY and INTEGRETY. If your moral compass is so skewed because of how you were raised or the people you associate with, then I'm sure what I say will not change your mind.
Again, I'm just calling a spade a spade.
To bring this conversation back on topic…and sum everything up, Battlefield 1943 is a great online game. If you like it, you should pay for it (regardless if it is shareable or not) and support the people who put hard work and time into making it.
Think about it.
July 12, 2009 at 10:22 am #30228kingofgames73Memberwhy is it called gamesharing not gamestealing? also the way you phrased the t-shirt thing is rather different on the account your getting 2 products rather than 1 which you share to someone, and i’d rather you not question the way i was brought up yes i know what stealing is (taking something with no payment whatsoever and no permission/acknowledgement of owner etc etc) but the way i do it at least the develepor gets some money and in the case of Battlefield:1943 after seeing how good it is im now definetely buying battlefield bad company 2 (a £40 retail game), but anyways you want to call me and a few other (hundred) people who gameshare who are sensible pathetic, go ahead, at the end of the day just like you said (but not for the reasons you said) i’m not going to change my ways for one person, at least not for you.
Yes the game is shareable as Xero should know by now (said it be4 and also im the one who shared it to him for £5.00) and yes it is a great game but only 3 maps, 3 classes, 6 guns is kinda off putting but ignore that because the game is so addictingJuly 12, 2009 at 10:29 am #30230AdorableNirvashMemberNo games are capable of being “Locked” I shared this, AND socom with people.
