No games are capable of being “Locked” I shared this, AND socom with people.
Your right.games like Warhawk and Socom are technicly shareable, but they are locked to accounts that purchased them.meaning that yes they can be downloaded to someone elses ps3 but can pnly be played by the account that purchased them. So that person you shared socom to cant play it if you are logged into your account.he can only play it if he is logged into your account and you are not.Hopefully that person isnt trying to get trophies on socom thining they are going onto his account lol.
Nope, that is incorrect. I am currently enjoying Warhawk that my friend has shared to me, and it works every time I want to play on it =)
I really would like to know how you are playing Warhawk on your account when it was purchased on another without using some sort of hack. I have tried playing my cousins Warhawk on my account and it starts up and everything, but once it gets to the start menu it gives an error code 800********(cant remember all the numbers) and says something like yoiur account cannot access or play this data.
I just looked it up and I am correct about it being able to be on other machines, but still can only be played by the psn account that purchased it, and can only be played another ps3 every 24 hours, but still only by the psn account that bought it. I looked at 4-5 sites reguarding this issue and they all say the same thing so i just picked 1 of them randomly to link to http://gamer.blorge.com/2007/09/01/youre-grounded-warhawk-game-sharing-altered-on-ps3/ , so you can read it for yourself. So that tells me XeroTheGreat that you are lieing or that you have some sort of hack you are using to play it on your account if it was bought on your friends. So I ask you again, Please let us all know how you are able to around all of Sony's and Warhawk's creators implementations to not allow what you claim to be doing???

a friend gameshared it with with me. Game is great fun. It displays your friends scores right on the main page and during the scoring screen at the end of every level. When you pass one friends score it will give you the target of your next friends score.I got on a hot streak cause i’ve palyed these games b4. I started on the 2nd lvl and didn’t have to use a continue after that. I didn’t think about the Master Blaster trophy when I started!!!! shucks. Oh well, I gotz top score among my friends at 264,000,000 or something around there. PS. You get 10,000,000 bonus score if you do not bounce off a wall during the entire level.
Lmao about Thickbrow calling everyone stealers and then gameshares himself. I love Hypocrites.
Well maybe it was opposite day that day

My friend let me download it off his account just before he went on holidays. He changed his password to something I knew and didn't change it. As he was going on holidays, the password was kept the same, and it was saved on my system. He hasn't been on the account either. So I am able to play because he isn't on his account, and my system knows his proper password. No hacks, and I'm not lieing.
July 26, 2009 at 7:22 pm #33203Ps3 FreakMemberhere is a thought: maybe that your mate bought an earlyer version without the DRM… and it only affects it if you download it know…
July 26, 2009 at 7:22 pm #33204Ps3 FreakMembernow* not know…
July 27, 2009 at 12:26 am #33348XeroTheGreatMemberNah, I think it's because he isn't currently using the account, and my system knows his password. You have a good point though.
July 27, 2009 at 2:58 am #33372HypnosisMemberyep. you are able to play it because you are playing with his psn account. which is the one the game was bought on. When or if he ever wants to play it again he will to wait until you havent played it for 24 hours b4 he will be able to play it.
