I know MW3 is going to be the title below most of the names on my friends list but as a Battlefield fan I have to say that I just can't wait for this.
The footage is PC so the console version will have less players but it's still going to be an utter warzone!
August 20, 2011 at 9:43 pm #70486HardAndSloppyMemberI personally also like battlefield a lot better, less noobs
August 20, 2011 at 10:58 pm #70487I773D33MABL3MemberI just prefer the more expansive and varied style of gameplay. Battlefield's style of MP is perfect for me. Although DICE fixing a few of the bugs this time around would be nice…

I agree with this as well
August 21, 2011 at 7:27 pm #70497MachinettiParticipantoh yeah btw have u people heard that Spli screen is no longer available in Battlefield?
August 21, 2011 at 8:51 pm #70498I773D33MABL3MemberI didn't know you could split-screen in the first place. Not much of an issue for me though as I find split-screening a bit of a waste on the PS3. It'd be different if you could have the “guest” log in with their own profile.
August 22, 2011 at 4:39 am #70505RKF95MemberMeh…… MW3 is where its at
On a side note, does anyone know if our admin is still alive…………….. im starting to get worried………….
August 22, 2011 at 7:28 am #70507HardAndSloppyMemberI just dont like modern warfare, it will end up being more of the same. The thing I like about battlefield is the desctructibility, and the vehicles, which cod doesnt have, hense why i enjoy battlefield more But to each his own

I've seen him on here when trophy lists are added but other than that no.
There is nowhere near the amount of arguments/fighting on here that there used to be so unless someone creates a spam thread he lets the site run itself
August 22, 2011 at 5:18 pm #70511RKF95MemberYea, but thats becouse all the “troublemakers” have left, along with everyone else.
A quick list of all the people whove left recently
Ratchet
Gashead
W4 Sniper
Parnakas
Tridon
Finch
Xero
Corry
Coolbreast
It just keeps going
August 22, 2011 at 6:48 pm #70512emdeepeeMemberDon't forget Miiitch and gow2ules.
It's not great that some of the biggest and best contributors to the site have gone. I never really paid much mind to the arguments, generally it was just people looking for a reaction and thats exactly what they got.

You… Eh… You did watch the trailer right
It's funny some of the 'mud-slinging' that's been going on between the two companies…
EA CEO John Riccitiello said he wanted to see Call Of Duty “rot from the core”
then
EA Corporate spokesman Jeff brown said in an interview, directed at Activision's Eric Hirshberg, after Eric said 'Competition is healthy but mudslinging rhetoric is just bad for the industry' –
“Welcome to the big leagues Eric… I know you're new in the job but someone should have told you this is a competitive industry.”
“You've got every reason to be nervous. Last year Activision had a 90% share in the shooter category. This year, Battlefield 3 is going to take you down to 60-70%. At that rate you'll be out of the category in 2-3 years. If you don't believe me, go to the store and try to buy a copy of Guitar Hero or Tony Hawk.” – Ouch
—
I'm not a shooter fan anymore but watching the BF3 trailer did make me want to dust of my BF2 for a few quick rounds… I might pick this up second-hand just for the SP
—
IMO COD is a 'twitch-shooter' and BF is a 'war simulator'… You know what i mean, right?

August 22, 2011 at 8:13 pm #70518RKF95MemberI really couldnt care less what people say about COD, I think its fun and all my friends play it so thats what im gonna play. Ill probably get BF3 for christmas, but MW3 is a release day title for me. Even though the Guitar Hero and Tony Hawk reference was pretty funny
Ill probably end up playing FIFA 12 and UFC 3 more then both of them put together tho.
