BTW, I recieved an email today stating that if you play BF 1943 between Nov 24 and Dec 10 you can win a BFBC2 Beta code… I'm not sure of the details since I accidentally entered a phony Bday without thinking about it and now can't access the website. Damn thing thinks I was born in 2008. What 2008 baby can even operate a computer?!

I got the beta through gamescom, or something, I got 2 codes and used 2 codes. To be honest I don't really like it, yes I do play it but I don't like it, I would pay max 1.50$ for the beta. I hope the original is much better.

P.S. – Downloading MAG beta to see how that is.

by all means BFBC2 looks great from what ive seen, but will it top MW2? i dont think so. although, i hope it does, but i just dont think it will. MW2 10 million/10 (multiplayer) for me so thats why i dont think so, its gonna be hard to top.

saying that, i loved the first BFBC's multiplayer, but imo, the campaign was absolutely bollocks. even the trophies didnt tempt me to finish it!

I have the beta.. i think its wonderful. Not brilliant, as i have only played on like one map. But its really good. A lot more refined than the last B:BC.

Knoxie – omg 100% agree.. B:BC campaign was just absolute crap!! I never finished it either! It was terrible! The online was ok but the single player was just crap.. (hey we have finally agreed on something!! )

I really like the beta, it was gay at first, but once you get used to it, it is great. I really like the graphics style.

And Ratchet – its better than MAG.. and MAG and B:BC2 don't play at all the same. I like B:BC2 a lot better… i thought MAG got boring..

well i have not played the first BFBC and i want to ask, did they have the engineering thing? or the healing thing?

anyways i still do think MAG is better, I just loved the MAG beta but the reason i stoped playing it was cause of those long updates -_-. Anyways, hope to play the beta with you man

but from screenshots and trailers i think that modern warfare 2 is better

I think the Beta is sh*t, as someone who spent well over a month total time on the 1st Bad Company this just did not feel the same. Felt like a better version of KZ2(weight of the character being the issue) which isn’t hard to top anyway. As a major fan of all Battlefield games i hope they simply revert to the great original formula they had and improve on it.

i like the weight of the character in this game. Not many games have that and it adds a little more challenge i think

Not sucked but it was a disappointment to say the least, i liked the 1st much better either way thats just my thoughts on KZ2. Back on topic, the idea of making your weight realistic is good and all but it does not impress people like me who analyse games differently then the sheep(general gaming population) it does not take effort to add such a feature and it would be fine if it were just in the campaign which i think it will be because i’ve read on a few different forums that people demand some significant changes be made. You may like it (because you don’t have MW2 yet lol) but there are plenty more diehard fans like myself who don’t.

beta was ok but i still prefer the original bbc multiplayer to this also people need to start using headsets in this as its usually chaos as everyone streams towards one position rather than using tatics

After watching some videos , it just looks like the Modern Version of 1943 . The reason i wouldnt mind this is the specific use of tactics , and how you have to rely on your friends & teammates and vice versa to win . Where as to Modern Warfare 2 depending on your play style you can either be a Lone Wolf and run out thinking your cool , or actually capture the flags or objectives and be a ” Team Player “

I played it last night it was ok just not my type of FPS maps are to big for the number of playersbut i can see how people would like BC2 but I'm going to stick to my Mag, Killzone2, Halo 3, and MW2

yeah i would choose MAG over this but i think BFBC2 will still be a good game.

I remember back in the day when I only use to play single player on BFBC, then I tried multiplayer and after about 3 games or so I loved it, the maps are huge and offer good opportunites for anybody that wants to use any class but the graphics are a bit on the weak side, but with BFBC2, I'm hooked already and I can't wait to play the final in March.
