BFBC 2 Trailer

I was under the impression that COD:MW and MW2 are different franchises, no?

Two different developers making two “different games”… All Activision did was give Infinity Ward a automatic fan base, with regards to MW2… MW2 would've still sold but you can't deny MW helped…

1. its called Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on the standard case. not on my case though as i got hardened edition. hello! it is a COD game… and its IW who made it, nothing like CoD:WaW.

2. lmao shotgun is the new mp40? *sigh*. all guns are weighed out on this game now since models were patched.

3. MW2 is the best FPS out (go on name one better) and one of the best games out imo.

4. ratchet you must be a terrible camper if youve got something like a 0.29 KDR, i mean running around you'd have to do much better than that.

5. killstreaks arent really unfair, you get a 11 killstreak to get CG/AC130 so you deserve it :/, and all it takes is a javelin class spare for these times, no?

I don't camp. And i only played like 5 matches of online when i first got the game. I'd like to see you play Uncharted 2..

MW2 is awesomeness guys seriously. could play it over and over again but looking forward to BC2 i loved the online in the first one. a friend of mine just got the plat and took him 28,000 kills and 11 months to the day to get the bronze “I am Bad Company” trophy and he is probably the best MP i have ever seen. I've seen what, 5 posts actually about Bf:BC?

This thread is about a game that will be either the most awesome game to hit a console since Warhawk, or another disappointment.

It's not for a little fanboi/anti fanboi fight. 

If you like CoD, play it, if you don't, don't. End of.

They've put a lot more work into the single player this time round. I found BC1 to be a bit lackluster. Don't get me wrong though, I enjoyed it, but it was basically a few giant fields with a village or two scattered about.

The multiplayer was where it really came to life though. It was well balanced, and nothing really dominated anything.

Tanks, although dangerous, were manageable with any class, and although the sniper class was powerful, it could be easily beaten by any other class.

The Heli's came with a nice learning curve too, which games seem to be phasing out these days.

Every game should have a learning curve. There needs to be a divide between someone new to the game and someone who's played it for months.

That's my biggest fear of BC2. It seems to have been streamlined for the casual gamer, and gone the ways of CoD.

I'm not liking the perk system they've added. Hopefully it won't dominate too much, but for me, it kills versatility.

In BC1, you could snipe for ten minutes, then hop into a tank and destroy the other team with it.

But perks stop this. If you snipe, your perks will be geared towards sniping, so if you jump in a tank, someone with a tanker perk, will have a huge advantage over you.

Perks force you to specialize, and take a lot of the skill out of most situations.

Increasing the weapon damage will mean that whoever shoots first, wins, where as with weaker weapons, if someone gets the drop on you, if you had the ability, you could turn the situation around.

Also, Kill Cam == fail.

Sorry… I think my eyes are broken, what? I think every one's entitled to an opinion but… It's not the length (as i believe it's spelt), more about the weak SP story concept… If it had been 5hours of epic story driven combat then it would have stood shoulders above where it is now…

It's a good game with a great MP and it definitely was helped by COD4… Some people still call MW2 – COD MW2… Hello! It's not a COD game…

Half-life is not a crappy fps in any respect… If you think about it MW2 is just a rip-off of COD5… Diff developers, eh? All  Infinity Ward had to do was put a 2 on the box and a half assed SP with an copy of the COD5 MP to sell millions of games… Diff. perks and such like but what are you paying the £40+ for?

I personally think that the missions were varied.Much better than shooting and shooting,and just shooting for hours.The maps were interesting and I loved the stealth missions.

And where the hell did you see me write that Half Life is a crappy game?
