For those that are interested Criterion are making an announcement on this Friday @ 1600 BST.

Would imagine its being released soon since the trophy list is out.

Bout time they release this! I remeber back in July last year thinking the update was for the island and then thinking it was coming with the trophies (october last year i think)…..sooo many delays

It says on Criterion games that it will be free, can someone please confirm this or not confirm as the case may be…

From the Criterion Games website:

“This Summer, the bridge will finally open when we release for download and purchase – Big Surf Island – Burnout Paradise's most-anticipated Premium Downloadable Pack”.

Doesn't sound like its going to be free.

can you post a link to that please? i don't want to come across as not believing you, but this island has taken a year or more to develop, there is no way it will be free. if they charge for a couple of cars that they can knock out in seconds, then the island will be £9.99 at least i reckon.

I dono i read it somewhere on criterion games website… but honstly i have no idea where… i was reading about that guy who got 1bill+ on showtime and some other stuff…

Given the prices they've charged for some of the extra modes/cars and the fact that this expansion is “roughly the size of Downtown Paradise” I reckon it may end up being more expensive.

Yeah, on the link posted earlier, 2nd paragraph it says 'Burnout Paradise's most-anticipated Premium Downloadable Pack' cos of premium, its goin2 cost, not a clue how much tho

Yh thats the reason why i asked if they had heard it was free, cuz the word premium… obviously its not though…

Cant be more than $19.99, cuz thats the price of the full game!!!!
