They have yeah, but as Admin said there's still a lot of other great games coming.

Uncharted 2

WET

Brutal Legend (might be good,might be garbage)

Assassins Creed 2

Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising

To name but a few. And with Arkham Asylum due next month it will still be a busy end to the year.

Reading between the lines does anyone else think they're running scared of Modern Warfare 2 and Among Thieves.

I've no doubt that Bioshock 2 will be awesome but at the end of the day people are more likely to buy the other two.

If it weren't for all those other great games coming I would be much more upset about this, but yeah I was looking at the upcoming line up and thinking damn, I don't have enough money or time for all of this… its kinda sad but I might need to take some vacation days from work just so I can play more games, haha

Bioshock wouldn't sell more, yeah thats the reason.

I think this was a dumb move.. look at all these games pushed back to 2010:

Splinter Cell: Conviction, Dark Void, Singularity, Bayonetta, Red Steel 2, Mafia II, Red Dead Redemption, God of War 3, Heavy Rain, MAG, Darksiders, Aliens vs. Predator, Alan Wake, Dante's Inferno, Mass Effect 2, Sin & Punishment 2, White Knight Chronicles, Split/Second, Dead Rising 2 and Lost Planet 2.

Some of those games are not to good, but most of these are highly anticipated games!!

(the underlined games are one's that i am very very interested in.

and this is only because of a couple superior games that will sell more, mainly MW2, i think it was a bad move and theyve actually made it worse 4 themselves

agreed. bioshock could've held it's own just fine before they changed the release date

I don't think sales would be anything major in the difference but I mean there will always be other games! maybe not on the same scale as MW2 or U2 but still games that some people will buy!

actually, A lot of games delayed because of the new Halo game.. not MW2.

I heard a lot of developers saying they are going to delay because Halo will sell a lot, and it is coming out in September. Im sure Uncharted 2, Assassins Creed and MW2 were also factors though.. they are much better games than Halo.. but Halo will prob sell a lot just because it has the word Halo in the title….
