Bit about each other

i know this has anything to do with this forum but does any1 why my avatar for this site is not working

Hi all,

I'm 19, female, from Canada. I'm currently just finishing off my second year of university. I'm studying criminology and computer science. I also work at a small software development company and certainly can't complain because the experience I've gained and the people I've met surpassed any expectations. I have played rugby for the past 6 years and absolutely adore it. I breathe sports. Staying in shape, for me, is not only fun but essential. Simply put, I feel great when I exercise on a consistent basis and crappy when I don't lol. I also adore music. I play the drums and the guitar.

I don't know if this can be considered a life “achievement” per se… but one of the most amazing experiences I've had in my life to date was last year when I went skydiving. I jumped out of a plane 8,500 feet above the ground. On that particular jump my freefall was 4,000 feet. It was exhilarating.

I'm an adventurous person who tries to seek out and live life to the fullest. I believe if you look for the positives in life you can find opportunities in everything. I'm fairly open minded but I'm also strong willed and never afraid of a good debate… this often gets confused with me being an opinionated.. erm.. witch lol (sorry). I'm pretty sure I have O.C.D. when it comes to certain aspects of my life. Self diagnosed but whatever lol.

I first started gaming at the age of 4 or 5. I would play my friend's Game Gear or Nintendo (go Duck Hunt)! I got my first system when I was 6 (Sega Genesis). From then on, between my brother and myself, we've purchased just about every system except for the Xbox. Recently we were given a 360 for FREE and we don't even play it because… let's be honest, when it comes down to it, the 360 controller and system pales in comparison to the PS3. Yes, I am a Sony fangirl to an extent and proud haha. A memorable gaming achievement on the PS3 would be getting the GTA IV platinum. I remember spending countless hours working with Hypnosis (THANKS ) trying to get the online trophies including the AWP trophy, only realizing after the fact that it had to be done in one sitting. What a time that turned out to be. Haha. Ranking up to 10 was quite a long haul, thanks also to Jamie as well for the NOOSE boosting!

I think this website and it's community is awesome! I initially just used it sparingly for my trophy needs but eventually signed up and I definitely do not regret it.

I guess that's about it.

Oh, and if you have yet to notice… I talk/type way too much. My bad.

Girls who are gamers definitely aren't the majority, but we do exist!

I can't argue with the Wii statement though! It seems like that's the truth… even though I don't understand why that's the case lol

16  i like the ps3

got started on the gameboy playing pokemon

owned a ps1  and played alot of football aswell as the  iss  on  my nintendo 64  loved that game i think i still got it somewhere

gained the ps2 after 2-4 months after it had came out and was stuck on fifa for ever lol

i had recently had a ps3 40g  but that had broke and i brought an 80g on the first day it came out was always on fifa and pes then i found out hd which changed my life lol

last yr i had had a major operation which led me staying in all the summer and my brother brought cod4   never left that game alone i swer it was on 24/7

now i dnt even go out im either stuck to cod or trophies  i  love them

best moment gained my cod waw trophy wat would make my yr  getting my lbp  play  trophy which will lead to my plat   which i have been working on since christmas and i ent getting no  where

i also had a gameboy pocket, but only 3 games evil kenevil, tazmanian devil, pokeon yellow

my most memerable gaming experience was on race driver grid, i managed to complete the last head to head without using a flashback, i tried for a bout a month (using the flashbacks), but then i suddenly did it without needing to use the flashback. btw it is not a trophy game

I forgot to add my name in my brief bio. Its pretty hard to pronounce. Its Gevork. My friends and parents call me Gev or Gevo for short.

Yeah it does actually. It means man of earth in English (George is english version for Gevork)
