It’s a serious storyline but the characters will have you laughing your ass off. I read the first three books in as many days and I’m hoping the next two last longer because I don’t want to reach the end.
I also picked up Bram Stoker’s Dracula. After seeing so many versions of it on film I decided I’d go back to the beginning and enjoy the story as it was originally intended.
@Gnilsia“story books”?!?!
Are you a fcucking five-year-old? Maybe if you opened one every now and then you’d discover the word ‘novel’. You spend all your time reading those fancy computer manuals and you still can’t fix the resolution on my fcuking PC!!!!January 10, 2010 at 1:08 am #54952gow2rulesMemberI773D33MABL3 said:

Fair point. In hindsight that reads a damn sight harsher than I had intended. I live with Gnilsia so you can rest assured it was meant in jest. I probably should have thrown in some smileys to tone it down. Passive swearing doesn’t translate well in text…January 10, 2010 at 10:04 pm #55027parnakasMemberI773D33MABL3 said:

Back to books, I was going through some of the books I had stored away on shelves and I came across The Book Thief by Marcus Zusak. One of the best written books I have had the pleasure to read. The guy has a style of writing that flows so well and is so accessible, you don't even notice your turning pages. It was completely different to anything I usually read but it blew me away. A carved in stone recommendation for anyone looking for something to glue to their hands for a few days.
