I made the right choice with my name . Wargeared_Sniper looks bland and i think just isnt as cool .
W4RG34R3D_SN1P3R is more unique and thought out . And i love people say ” Hey W 4 R G 3 4 R 3 D _ SN1P3R ” As if its letter number letter number .
Anyways , cant wait for this shizzle , Saturday Baby !

October 29, 2009 at 2:28 pm #48093BigWoopMagazineMemberIn a few weeks, but as far as I know they haven't made any official accouncement for that release. I'm just really hoping they include more abilities for the characters with this. This game is really cool, but I think having more unique abilities for each character would really help make you feel like your char is unique. Right now it seems like no matter how you develop them, it all comes down to what gun you're using. Good thing the guns are really badass.
@Hypnosis – apparently you were already on my friends list. It looks like you play while I'm at work though. We might have to team up over the weekend or something, if you're up for it.
Does anyone know how to view challenges that you've completed and have yet to complete?

press select and go to the quest screen, then press triangle to switch to the challenge list..
also you're totally correct about the fact that it only comes down to the gun you use.. i was using my sinper rifles fairly exclusivly with my hunter and then i ran out of ammo one time and had to fall back on a combat rifle that i had kicking around.. needless to say, my hunter now uses combat rifles all the time.. snipers are too slow, no matter what one you get.. i just kind of rambo my way through places now, and kill bosses in very little time all because i'm not using my character the way intended.. kind of leads me to believe that the hunter got the shaft in the game.. i mean come on.. give me a REAL reason to use snipers if thats his thing..
October 29, 2009 at 6:11 pm #48106BigWoopMagazineMember@ Deadklown – thanks, I'll check that out. I found a really good sniper rifle last night, had 3x explosions… using my siren with her added elemental ability maxed out it became really effective for taking guys out until they approach me. Then I switch to my electric machine gun, or flame shotgun. I like the elemental weapons, so for her ability it really works well. Otherwise tho, I can't really tell that each character has much of a weapons preference, unless the skill level up for certain weapons gives a different bonus… I can't tell. Anyway tho, you should add me on PSN if you wanna play, my ID is the same as here.
October 29, 2009 at 6:52 pm #48108HypnosisMemberyea i found that too. it matters what gun you have. On my hunter i carry around 1 of each type at all times(except the eridian,as i havnt got any yet lol) I use diferent ones depending on the situation. As of right now i have at least level 6 and some level 7 weapon proficiency with all types of weapons. That when i find a good one,no matter what type it is,i can use it effectivly.
October 30, 2009 at 6:22 pm #48236x_D3adk0wn_xMemberthis game has lost my interest sadly.. all i gotta do is get lvl 50 for the platinum and it cant come soon enough.. i dunno, maybe its cause my head isnt into gaming these past weeks, but as good as this game was when i first started playing it, its worn off big time.. 🙁
if there was a faster way to boost i'd be all about it.. perhaps if i can get 3 more lvl 50s to invite me and i'll just tag along it'll be ok.. lol
October 30, 2009 at 6:30 pm #48239BigWoopMagazineMember@Deadklown – I would go on the borderlands forums and see if you can find anyone on there to help you out. It would probably make it go faster then. I'd help ya out if I could but I'm still only level 20.
I find myself wishing it had more enemy types. Like, way more enemy types. So far I've seen four. Skags, Rakks, Bandits, and the crab bug things. Sure they all have different subtypes, but they're basically the same… with so many weapons to choose from, I feel like I should have just as many different kinds of enemies to kill with them.
On a side note, I found a shotgun last night that launches rockets. Badass.
October 31, 2009 at 12:22 pm #48296Seibei4211MemberScythids, Crimson Lance, Larva Worm thingy, and man, the Guardians are kickass. I'm only at level 31 right now, but those are the enemies I can remember in addition to to BigWoop's four.
October 31, 2009 at 4:29 pm #48353barkiemailmanMember….Thats pretty much it for the enemy types. Except for a handful of “Special enemies” that are unique (like bosses, and quest guys) and raiders that drive the Cars and everything.
Realistically though….thats all the enemy types you need. They could just make new enemy skins and have them act exactly like raiders or something. PLUS – How many enemy types are there in games like CoD:Waw and Uncharted 2? Not even close to the variety in this one. Thats for sure.
October 31, 2009 at 5:49 pm #48355Ratchet525Memberso, this game gets boring after awhile?
October 31, 2009 at 9:51 pm #48381barkiemailmanMemberDeadklown got bored of it pretty quickly…but I'm still going strong. I got a lvl 50 siren who's halfway through the 2nd playthrough, a lvl 21 soldier, a lvl 13 berserker and a lvl 7 hunter. I'm still having a blast playing it and even when you hit max lvl (50) you can still hunt for new gear and level up your weapon proficiencies. Theres modified enemies on the 2nd playthrough too that are pretty hardcore.
But does the game get boring after a while? Deadklown still finished the game and made it into the 2nd playthrough before getting bored with it. Thats still pretty good considering we get too bored to finish a game the 1st time around usually

this is true, and to this game's credit, my getting bored of it is probably more due to the crap in my life causing me to not be able to get into playing games much anymore.. its definitely worth a playthrough, but mine is gone to get traded as soon as i get lvl 50.. hopefully just in time to use the trade credit for MW2
