What level were you guys ? When me and kingof games did it we killed it easily .
I think level 19-20ish? Not sure honestly. Kinda found out that the rocket launching shotgun probably wasn't my best choice, but it was the best thing I had equipped and wasn't really prepared for that fight.
Hypnosis – If you go to New Haven and look around the rooftops of the buildings there are a lot of chests to open that spawn random weapons. Often times they are pretty decent. Try to get 3 other people in the game first, so they spawn better loot. I can help you beat Krom if you need, I did it the other day, it was somewhat difficult as a low level siren.
Anyone else – I'm pretty sure I'll be on this weekend, unless a particular individual of the female persuasion calls me back. So hit me up for some games. I'm juggling between this and U2 online, so I'll probably be a lower level than the rest of ya.

its slooooooow going for me to get this plat.. i still need 3.5 levels and i've played it more in the last 48 hours than enough..
Sucks dude , heh the only advice i have is to get Mark and make 2 other level 50s with ya . I mean im down to play tommorow , but id have to concentrate on my own story , and id know you would get no XP there . Actually , there must be a glitch . My friend told me about his friend glitching level 50 , and the fact hes like level 6000 now ..
November 6, 2009 at 8:14 pm #49205HypnosisMemberquick question. Does anyone know when or after which quest does the claptrap rescue mission in old haven is available?
I have been doing quests and keep checking the spot where its supposed to be,but the claptrap has not shown up yet.
November 6, 2009 at 8:34 pm #49209barkiemailmanMemberIt's easy to get caught up with trying to get a certain trophy that you'll just get later anyways. Just finish the game for now and do as many of the quests as you can. You can ALWAYS go back in this game. On my 1st playthrough I never even noticed that claptrap there.
Anyways that was a general response…but all the same it will help ya. For that claptrap you CAN'T get it on your fist visit to old haven. After you leave you get more quests later that send you back to old haven and you can get it then. There will be a quest that lowers the trapped claptraps cage and then the damaged one is in a building close to the weapons vending machine.
November 6, 2009 at 8:41 pm #49211HypnosisMemberThanks Barkiemailman. I was just curious.I wasnt sure if somehow the game hada glitch on me. I actually wasnt really looking for it for the trophy, i really need the space lol. I seem to fill up quick nowadays. I didnt plan on getting 100% trophies till 2nd playthrough anyways.
November 6, 2009 at 9:21 pm #49214BigWoopMagazineMemberI was kinda wondering that too, for the same reasons. Too many guns, not enough space!
November 7, 2009 at 9:03 am #49269Seibei4211MemberOld Haven is such a crazy place for loot – mostly shields. Inventory fills up way too fast. That place is so hectic when you first visit, especially if you're alone.

November 14, 2009 at 8:23 am #50038emdeepeeMemberOkay so I'm kinda tempted to get this game based on the comments I've read on here. My only issue is that I really didn't like Fallout 3. Would you still recommend this as I'd heard it's mainly a first person shooter with RPG elements? How much of this game is RPG?
November 14, 2009 at 6:20 pm #50057barkiemailmanMemberI didn't like Fallout 3 that much either. This game can be played as a full FPS, but it has the RPG elements (like gaining levels, getting new equipment and leveling up skills).
Anyways, it dosen't matter how much all of us love the game…If I were you I'd definitely rent it.
Beyond that, if you can't rent it and the reason you didn't like fallout 3 is because of the FPS action (or lack there of), you won't have that trouble with this one…It handles as good as any other FPS
