So who else has this game? Thoughts, comments on it? And would any1 be up for playing online multiplayer with me. Trading wins most likely but mostly just screwing around to get all the online trophies.
January 4, 2010 at 10:54 pm #54558parnakasMemberI rented it, didnt really become a fan of it too much.. felt kinda boring i dont know. it was fun in the beginning, but got boring near the middle. Never tried the online though.

January 5, 2010 at 3:47 pm #54550BigWoopMagazineMemberI'm in. I got this for christmas. I thought it was great, but primarily because it made me laugh a lot at all the musical references they did, and all the little different comments Jack Black makes as you play (I'm not even a fan of him, but he redeemed himself for me in this). The gameplay wasn't really top notch, but if you take a close look at the unit types and control schemes, there is a real chance for strategy here. I haven't tried the online yet, just beat the campaign. It definitely would be nice to know what online matches count, cause 50 wins could be time consuming… Hit me up though, PSN ID same as here.
January 5, 2010 at 10:02 pm #54588VitaNamLetumMemberI agree completely. The humor in this game was excpetional which is odd for a videogame, I feel too that it had a lot of potential. I did really like how you could play as all 3 factions online. I'll add you as soon as I get a chance to play agian.

January 12, 2010 at 4:59 pm #55212BigWoopMagazineMemberso – sorry I haven't played yet, I've been distracted by other things. I was working through the GoW collection, and then Mad Moxxi came out for Borderlands. Then I got YLOD, and lost all my save data. So now its level grinding in Borderlands so I can try out Mad Moxxi with a decent character eventually,,, but hit me up over the weekend and I'll probably hop in for a round or two to get a break. Also, I have confirmed that we can infact boost for the 50 wins, although thats quite a grind. I think we should go for the unit related achievements while doing that grind, cause theres quite a few of them.
January 12, 2010 at 8:54 pm #55232W4RG34R3D_SN1P3RMemberSo has anyone considered the stats reset ? Or the fact that servers are complete crap and connecting is only but a gift from God ? A friend of mine was boosting this thing , last Gold for Platinum . When he hit about 48 wins his stats reset to zero . Bummer really , i honestly would not sit through 50 wins all over again . But good luck to you guys , i wasnt trying to sound negative but more informative on what can happen out there . Good Luck !
January 12, 2010 at 11:04 pm #55247d4h8a15r16m23a42MemberThe game was great and insanely hilarious. But i recently got rid of it because my stats online reset 3 times!!!!
It really wasn't worth keeping. Which truly is a shame.
January 14, 2010 at 10:29 pm #55406VitaNamLetumMemberThey probably will be watching for swappers, swapping more than 25 wins seems to set off there alarm. Switching up the swapping between multiple friends sounds like the safest way to do it.
January 29, 2010 at 3:08 pm #56460BigWoopMagazineMemberAfter trying the online a few times I no longer have any desire to even boost for the online trophies, let alone play it out. Its just too laggy, a pain in the ass to connect… etc, etc… sorry guys. If you happen to catch me when I'm not intent on playing something else, I could let you win a round or two, but don't expect me to be excited about it.
And while I'm not a huge fan of the online – the single player is still worth a play through, especially if you like metal music. The soundtrack in this game is friggin awesome!
January 29, 2010 at 3:36 pm #56462VitaNamLetumMemberYa, I think everyone can agree the online is a piece of crap wrapped in cold bacon.
Getting 50 wins is going to be a pain in the arse for sure.
