***NO PROFANE LANGUAGE PLEASE*** YEAH!! This is the type of Call of Duty I want to play. I love futuristic stories and well, this is awesome!!! Although, Call of Duty has never been an anticipated game on my list, I guess this is it. They finally found a suitable setting to actual put all those action set pieces in and make it feel right (it sounds good in my head but I can't put it in words). It still kind of looks like the same graphics engine as the previous title but what the hell can I do? The game looks great, story looks freakin' AWESOME, and graphics look good. But, something that would be cool although I wouldn't want him in it, to have references back to Cpt. Price and World War III that just happen 8 years ago (I'm right or no?). I have faith in you Treyarch, do not let me down.
May 2, 2012 at 9:50 pm #71677I773D33MABL3MemberI had heard absolutely nothing about this until both Play.com and Amazon.com sent me pre-order e-mails this morning. And I'll be honest, that trailer is not reassuring me that it's something I want to be e-mailed about. It looks like CoD meets Robocop in the worst possible way. An automated quadroped tank shooting at a guy that looks like he just crawled out of Veitnam…
The cynical side of me thinks this is just a way for them to introduce new guns and cosmetic novelties to hide the fact that they have, yet again, not bothered to change or improve the game's core mechanics.
May 3, 2012 at 10:13 pm #71683gr8jrfanMemberI'm considering whether or not to get this. It's the first time in the COD series where I want nothing to do with the campaign. It looks awful. They did say there would be zombies and that's a lot of fun, but $60 for a campaign that looks wack as ***NO PROFANE LANGUAGE PLEASE*** and multiplayer I won't bother with? I really don't know on this one. Treyarch messed up.
May 4, 2012 at 12:27 am #71685emdeepeeMemberI'll be honest, if Tesco are selling this for £25 on release day I'll pick it up (and once I've finished it I'll sell it in work to someone for £35 )
May 4, 2012 at 9:56 pm #71690I773D33MABL3MemberI'll pick this up for zombies. I know it's only one game mode but between the on-disc stuff and the DLC on the first BO myself and gr8jrfan must have spent days trying for the trophies.
May 5, 2012 at 2:58 am #71693scotty243MemberDid anyone else hear that Zombies might actually get a story? I had liked a little bit of zombies but never was a fan. Good thing this was announced anyways, reminded me that I needed to get a copy of Black Ops from a friend (6 trophies left). Anyone have any ideas on how Woods is even alive?
May 5, 2012 at 4:13 am #71695gr8jrfanMemberI have a couple guesses. He could've thrown the grenade away and used the guy to break his fall, or maybe it was just Mason's imagination, or he was revived with future tech. Or maybe since he was the most liked in Black Ops 1, they just brought him in it so it can stay “Black Ops” instead of “Future Warfare”. And by the way, IRISH AMERICAN COALITION FTW!!!!! 😀

I second that motion!!
Those hi-tec future zombies are fcuked
May 5, 2012 at 2:20 pm #71699KriggsMemberI'll definately be picking this up even for Zombies alone. The story in Blops was absolute muck but the online multiplayer and zombies were fantastic fun. Many long night's playing Shangri-la trying not to be Takeo and constantly reviving I773D33MABL3….. but I gotta say I do like the look of the story in the “sequal” explosions and robotic infidels…..nice
May 5, 2012 at 3:06 pm #71700I773D33MABL3MemberYaaay!
Kristoff and his ridiculous facial hair have finally turned up! If you haven't broken any fingers when BO II arrives you might be able to re-join the coalition. Even if it's performance did improve in your absence!!
May 5, 2012 at 3:18 pm #71701KriggsMemberGood to be here, along with my ridiculous facial hair
Of course it improved, it had to. You must've gotten a little bit better because when the old coalition was playing, out of the four that turned up only two could kill Zombies because a) you were always downed and B) someone was always risking there neck to revive you. You were always best at playing the bait “Jack keep that crawler busy while the rest of us do the important stuff”
All joking aside I can't wait for more Zombies. Epic laughs
May 5, 2012 at 11:59 pm #71702emdeepeeMemberThink I must be the only person on the planet who didn't like the zombies mode (the fact I was shit at it probably contributed to that mind)
May 6, 2012 at 1:53 am #71703I773D33MABL3MemberDid you play it solo? Because it was fairly dodge like that. I only ever enjoyed it co-op.
