Call of Duty Black Ops Trophy Guide

Death to Dictators (Bronze)– Take down Castro with a headshot.

-Easy trophy to get in the first missions that you do there will be a slow motion scene were you have to kill Castro just aim for his head.

 

Sacrifice (Bronze) – Ensure your squad escapes safely from Cuba.

-Story related

 

Slingshot Kid (Bronze) – Destroy all slingshot targets in 3 attempts.

-This is when you escape from Vorkuta and you have to destroy the towers with the large slingshot at the top of the tower. There is three of them just aim a little above the towers and you should hit them if you miss you can restart at the last load.
 

Give Me Liberty, or Give Me Death (Bronze) – Escape Vorkuta.

-Story related

 VIP (Bronze) – Receive orders from Lancer.

-Story related

 

A Safer Place (Bronze) – Sabotage the Soviet space program.

-Story related

 Tough Economy (Bronze) – Use no more than 6 TOW guided missiles to destroy the tanks in the defense of Khe Sanh.

-This is at the end of the battle of Khe Sanh when you are in the jeep and you have to destroy the tanks take your time and wait for the tanks to get into line. If you miss one of the tanks you can shoot at the jeep that you are in and die so you restart at the last checkpoint.
 

Looks Don’t Count (Bronze) – Break the siege in the battle of Khe Sanh.

-Story related
 

Raining Pain (Bronze) – Rack up a body count of 20 NVA using air support in Hue City.

-This is on mission 6 the defector all you have to do is aim the air support at the buildings and this trophy is yours.

 The Dragon Within (Bronze) – Kill 10 NVA with Dragon’s Breath rounds.

-This is as well on mission 6 at the beginning of the level you get incendiary rounds for your shotgun,just shoot 10 NVA with your incendiary rounds equipped. 

 SOG Rules (Bronze) – Retrieve the dossier and the defector from Hue City.

-Story related

 

Heavy Hand (Bronze) – Use the Grim Reaper to destroy the MG emplacement.

-This is on mission 9 you will come across a Grim Reaper just aim out of the window and fire it on the MG emplacement.

 Up Close and Personal (Bronze) – Silently take out 3 VC.

-Can not miss this trophy its on mission 9 as well when all you have is the knife just do what the AI tells you to an you will get this trophy. 
 

Double Trouble (Bronze) – Use only dual wield weapons to escape Kowloon.

-This is on the level called Kowloon just use the weapons that you are given at the start of the game. You can not get any other weapon and shoot or you can not get the trophy.
 

Broken English (Bronze) – Escape Kowloon.

-Story related

 

Never Get Off the Boat (Bronze) – Find the Soviet connection in Laos.

-Story related

 Pathfinder (Bronze) – Guide the squad through the Soviet outpost without them getting killed.

-This is on mission 11 at the start of WMD just guide your squad through the outpost with out them dying. You can die when the view changes to you but if you get your squad killed while guiding them you will not get this trophy.

 Russian Bar-B-Q (Bronze) – Incinerate 10 enemies with the flamethrower attachment in the POW compound.

-As the description states just pick out a Ak-47 with a flamethrower and incinerate 10 enemies with it. You will find the flamethrower at the POW camp on mission 12.

 

Some Wounds Never Heal (Bronze) – Escape the Past.
 – Story related

I Hate Monkeys (Bronze) – Kill 7 monkeys in under 10 seconds in the Rebirth labs.

– In mission 13 you will come across monkey in cages the easiest place to kill them is at the very end just before you enter the room with the Nova Chamber. They will all be in the corner throw a grenade and make sure that you cook the grenade before you throw it then as the grenade is going off shoot other monkeys you should have no problem getting this one. 

 Clarity (Bronze) – Crack the code.

Double Whammy (Bronze) – Destroy both helicopters with one Valkyrie rocket from the deck of the ship.

-This is on mission 15 when the two helicopters are above you wait till they are near each other and then fire between then and one of the helicopters will crash into the other one. You just have to have. 

 Frag Master (Bronze) – Kill 5 enemies with a single frag grenade in the campaign.

-Easiest on missions 1 when you are at the courtyard. Enemies will be in the middle of the courtyard and have red barrels near them lob a grenade in the middle of the group.

 Sally Likes Blood (Bronze) – Demonstrate killer economic sensibilities by taking down 3 enemies with a single bullet.

-You can get this trophy on dead ops or regular Zombie mode as well. Dead ops is the easiest to get it on. To get Dead Ops just break out of the chair with L2 and R2 and go to the terminal and enter DOA.Just line the zombies up and fire until you get the trophy.

 Unconventional Warfare (Bronze) – Use the explosive bolts to kill 30 enemies in the campaign.

-You first go the crossbow at mission 4 just make sure that every time you shoot a enemy that they die by the crossbow blowing up. This trophy will come in time.

 Closer Analysis (Bronze) – Find all the hidden intel. — Find all 42 pieces of intel.

Date Night (Bronze) – Watch a film or clip with a friend.

-Simple just invite a friend to your theatre party and upload a game that you have done and watch it.
 

In the Money (Bronze) – Finish 5 Wager Matches “in the money.”

-Simple as well just do 5 matches where you are in the top 3.

 Ready for Deployment (Bronze) – Reach rank 10 in Combat Training.

-Very easy just go to combat training and set it to Nuke-town and set the game to team death match and set the score to max as well the time limit to unlimited you will get to level 10 in no time. As well set the bots on recruit. 

 Hands Off the Merchandise (Bronze) – Kill the Pentagon thief before it can steal your load-out.
 -This one is a hard one to get you have to be playing the zombie level 5 which you get after you beat the game or enter 3ARC UNLOCK into the terminal. Make sure that you have a pack a punch weapon and he can not take your game or you have to wait until he comes again.

Sacrificial Lamb (Bronze) – Shoot at or be shot by an ally with a Pack-a-Punch crossbow and kill six zombies with the explosion.

-At the mystery box get a crossbow and pack-a-punch it to make it explosive then shoot at a teammate and kill 6 zombies with one bolt.You will get the trophy if you shoot the crossbow or be shot by the crossbow.

 “Insert Coin” (Bronze) – Access the terminal and battle the forces of the Cosmic Silverback in Dead Ops Arcade.

-Enter DOA into the terminal computer once you break out of the chair.

 Just Ask Me Nicely (Bronze) – Break free from the torture chair.

-Press L2 and R2 at the same time until you break free.
 

Eaten By A Grue (Bronze) – Play Zork on the terminal.

-Enter ZORK at the terminal.

 Vehicular Slaughter (Silver) – Destroy all enemies on vehicles during the prison break.

-This is when you are escaping from the prison do this on recruit and shoot anything that moves, all vehicles count trucks, cars and motorcycles. This is mission 2.
 

Lord Nelson (Silver) – Destroy all targets and structures while making your way up the river.

-This in mission 10 destroy any structures as you make your way up the river.

 Mr. Black OP (Silver) – Enter the Soviet relay station undetected.

-In mission 11 when you come across the relay station do not get noticed.This trophy is not that hard to get. Some tips are use your Aug to kill the 2 guys by the fire, then get your crossbow out and kill the guy by the rock,next kill one of the guys by the truck in the hanger your teammate will kill the other one,get your crossbow out and kill the guy to the right that is on the back of the truck your teammate will kill the guy to the left of him.Next kill the guy of to the distance on the tower with the crossbow,run through the hanger and kill the two guys that are shovelling snow with the AUG,look to the right and kill the guy that is walking with the crossbow and then kill the guy in the hanger that has his back towards you then go done the stairs and knife or shoot the last guy.

 With Extreme Prejudice (Silver) – Get to the POW compound in the Hind using only rockets.

-On mission 12 get to the POW camp with only rockets again try to do this on recruit as it will be much easier.

 Light Foot (Silver) – Escape the ship with 2:15 left on the timer in Veteran.

-On mission 8 you will have to do it on veteran mode this level is very easy so you will have no problems. Just plant the bomb and shoot the support beam and run, you should do this in plenty of time. 

 No Leaks (Silver) – Make it through the NOVA 6 gas without dying on Rebirth Island.

-This is on mission 13 after your tank rolls over you are forced to get out just make sure that your mask does not get to cracked or you will die if it is broken.If it breaks you have to restart the level.
 

Stand Down (Silver) – Complete the campaign on any difficulty.

-Beat the game on any level.

 Cold Warrior (Silver) – Complete “Operation 40,” “Vorkuta,” and “Executive Order” on Veteran difficulty.

-Beat all these levels on veteran.

 

Down and Dirty (Silver) – Complete “SOG” and “The Defector” on Veteran difficulty.

-Beat all these levels on veteran.

 

It’s Your Funeral (Silver) – Complete “Numbers,” “Project Nova,” and “Victor Charlie” on Veteran difficulty.

-Beat all these levels on veteran.

 Not Today (Silver) – Complete “Crash Site,” “WMD,” and “Payback” on Veteran difficulty.

-Beat all these levels on veteran.

Burn Notice (Silver) – Complete “Rebirth” and “Redemption” on Veteran difficulty.

-Beat all these levels on veteran.
 

The Collector (Silver) – Buy every weapon off the walls in a single Zombies game.
 

-On the first zombie level buy every gun off of the wall i believe that there are 13 guns. Easiest way to get this is on the later level get a “crawler” by throwing a grenade and blowing the legs off of the zombie so it crawls this way you can move around without being attacked.

Easy Rhino (Silver) – In Dead Ops Arcade, use a Speed Boost to blast through 20 or more enemies at one time.

-Very easy just line up 20 zombie and speed boost through 20 of them.

 BLACK OP MASTER (Gold) – Complete the campaign on Hardened or Veteran difficulty.

-Beat the game on Hardend or Veteran.

Tips

-On veteran mode keep your head down and use cover all the time.

-Make sure that your guns always have ammo or pick up new ones.

-Scoped guns or guns with a sight are better because you can aim and see your targets better.

 Platinum (Platinum) – Awarded when all other Trophies have been unlocked.

-Get all other trophies and the platinum is yours.

Secret Trophy

 See Me, Stab Me, Heal Me (Gold) – Fire a Pack-a-Punched Ballistic Knife at a downed ally to revive them from a distance.

-Get a ballistic knife and pack-a-punch it,then shoot a downed teammate to get the trophy.

The easiest way to do this is get a crawler then get your friend to kill himself with a grenade and then revive him.
