Memberhere is the information of which i know about call of duty modern warfare 2
Plot
Modern Warfare 2 is set several years after the conclusion of Call of Duty 4. Sergeant “Soap” MacTavish will return as a non-playable character, and has been promoted to captain in the Special Air Service. MacTavish will lead an elite commando unit to counter a new Russian terrorist group on the rise. Mission settings will vary between the mountains of Russia to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Gameplay
A “Special Forces” mode will be featured in Modern Warfare 2 comparable to the “Mile High Club” epilogue mission in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. The mode will consist of isolated missions in a variety of settings which are not related to the campaign story, and will include a cooperative play option for two players, while the single-player mode will not.
Voice actors
Voice actor Ken Lally, who has previously provided motion capture work for the Resident Evil 5 character Albert Wesker,confirmed that he provided voice work for Modern Warfare 2; his role in the game was not specified.
Robert Bowling, the community manager for Infinity Ward, posted an update on his personal blog regarding the voice work for the game. In the post, Bowling stated that he was reviewing some lines from the game's script, and shared the radio-chatter line “Cujo Two-One this is Vulture, solid copy on all.”

Memberwow that looks fantastic. I'm loving the special forces mode – exactly what I've been looking for. A co-op fps experience that actually requires some strategy plus skill. RE5 has a great co op going on, but just didn't hit what I wanted. Resistance 2 has a dissapointing co-op, and WaW didn't really cut it with theirs (its not bad) since its exactly the same as playing single player. I'm generally dissapointed with the short single player campaigns most games have any more, but I'll forgive infinity ward for it. The explanation for why they do it is reasonable, and multiplayer is where this game really shines any way…. can't wait.

Memberif i remember correctly the game is called Modern Warfare 2 without the call of duty…but anyways the game looks amazing..Call of duty 4's campaign was a bit short and a bit too easy on veteran but still fun..the game looks like it will be really promising and i can't wait

Memberi really really hope they put in a very good single player mode. CoD4 had very good online, but i never felt like going back to play the single player.
I know this game will have great online, so if they can pull off a great single player mode, i will definitely be picking this up.

Pre-order bonuses wont happen until closer to release date.
Thats why im not pre-ordering Uncharted 2 yet.

Memberthis will be amazing tbh, COD4s single player was mint so i expect this 2 be even better which it will be! i loved the sniper mission (cant remember wot its called) & the online was waaaay better than any game (prob still is imo), just hope there are online trophys in this 1, shudnt take me 2 long 2 get plat, CANT WAIT!!!!!!!!!!

i really think Uncharted 2 has GOTY in the bag. I mean, that game has a storyline that makes sense.
May 18, 2009 at 9:49 pm #26135MemberI agree on that sniper mission, that was the bomb shiggitty. GOTY? we're not even half way thru the year, how can you speculate on that already? I'd wait a lil bit dood, theres a loooooooot of good stuff down the road. Unless you're just an fps fanatic.

It has to be AMAZING to be GOTY.
Like BigWoopMagazine said, there is a lot of new games, looking better than MW2 right now.
Remember everyone, GOTY is overall GAME.. not just ONLINE!!!!
