Can’t Sign In

i didnt know about this at all, then i tried to sign in about 10 minites ago, and i was like “ok, maintenence, thats fine” so i took U2 out to play Heavy Rain and it said something like the trophies wouldnt load so the game would close, then i started panicing, i thought my playstation was funked glad its not lol

Ok I've just turned on my 80 GB MGS4 PS3[Fat] and everything's fine.I only have two problems though but they're no biggie:

1.) My ethernet cable doesnt want to work even though everything's connected,so I turned on Wi-Fi and everything works properly.

2.)MW2 Trophiest won't appear on top of my Trophy list.Tried MiNi Ninjas and did though,must be some problem MW2 itself.

I haven't tried mine today but I have a slim so hopefully I will be unaffected.

I signed in this evening completely unaware of all of this. Thankfully everything was okay  Glad i got the slim now.

Just read that Sony has pretty much found the cause of the psn crash. It has something to do with the functionality and files of the system's internal clock. Something has corrupted and is now the cause of many problems. This includes the inability to sign into the psn and why many have lost trophies and lost games saves all together. Sony is now estimating a repair will be released within the next 24 hours. So luckily we won't be out of play time for long.

Trophies are synced with an online server so even if your lists have got the gay, once you sign back in they should be okay. My fatboy has been affected but I turned on a slim and even though I hadn't synced that in months it still found all of my trophies. 

That said, I was playing Borderlands when PSN crashed and a couple of trophies I should have earned (I was playing LAN co-op with my brother and he got them) didn't pop up.
