It has pissed me off quite a bit as I had a 4 day weekend and it's also been raining here non stop since sunday so can't go for a drive anywhere with the missus as the wheather sucks knob. 1 good thing is that I've had plenty of time to read which is a hobby I rarely have time for. Oh well I'll finish you one day Heavy Rain

It is raining and snowing where I am. It blows. Winter is the best time of the year for video games. It is too cold to go out and the best games of the year come out during winter months 🙂

Sony better get on top of this.. i think they are just waiting, and hoping that the problem resolves itself, when the date changes tomorrow.

I heard that is because the PS3 thought the date was Feb 29 2010, which doesn't exist, so it pretty much crashed lol

Why it is only happening in the Phat PS3s is beyond me.. Heres some info.

It sounds pretty stupid to be honest. If people could predict Y2K, and the 2032 problem, why the hell couldn't sony predict this?

Sony completely screwed me out of my borderlands platinum. I was online the night the crash happened and all it said was that i was signed out of the network. Thinking it wasn't a big deal bc i always get signed out whenever other people on online. I had one trophy to go (lvl 50) and once i got it, i recieved no indication of the trophy or platinum showing up. Then i looked online trying to figure out why i cant sign in. Nowhere did it say that i shouldn't be playing or even turning on my system until the next day! I really hope im still able to get this trophy or else its gonna be trouble for sony!

just tried my ps3 its tuesday morning here still thinks its 1/1/2000 so looks like sony will have to release a patch

4days now of no ps3 time i really want to finish heavy rain

i bet sony know this problem isn't fixed 2

i bet they where all waiting for sony new zealand to say if it starts working the next day or not

as we can't get online i'm betting they'll release the patch on the website but then comes the problem of those without internet access

ok, I live in Canada and it's still march 1st and it didn't happen to me should it be fix for me or should i wait until tomorrow just incase?
