well ive looked around and no one seems to have a topic on the entire of CES so wel… here it is just put your opinions and the latest news here.
to start with so far CES has been terrible every press conference was boring, and Sony's was just despicable (taylor swift WTF?!?) nothing new and inventive that anyone cares about has been released, and it seems that everyone is obsessed with the 3D aspect and it looks atrosous
i think that is all my comments.. for now anyone else have any input?

January 8, 2010 at 1:36 am #54743gow2rulesMemberwell thing i got out of it was 3d is the next big thing and fifa 2010 world cup games will be broadcast to those lucky few with 3d tvs
January 8, 2010 at 3:00 am #54753I773D33MABL3MemberDoes anyone feel that this 3D nonsense is basically being kicked down our throats? It seems to be in every article I read and it all feels a bit rushed considering that most people haven’t even gone hi-def yet. Most people that don’t game aren’t going to upgrade their TV for the paltry range of hi-def channels on offer and I can’t see the change to 3d being any quicker.
Companies seem to be falling over themselves to be the first to get the technology on the market but considering the examples we’ve seen, is anyone impressed?January 8, 2010 at 4:13 am #54765gow2rulesMemberI773D33MABL3 said:

up 3D and avatar was impressive but i don't see myself bying a $7000-10000 3D tv to see it at home and they haven't come out in australia yet so another $100 for postage i see better uses for that amount of money like for eg using for airline travel, accommodation at the world cup around june and tickets
January 8, 2010 at 1:36 pm #54814ecurryMemberIt is impossible to have a flat screen tv output in £d without visual optimisation in form of eyewear which i would find more of a bloody nuisance than anything else before and after you sit and break them!
January 8, 2010 at 2:55 pm #54829ideal4livingMemberit is poddible btw 😛

How?January 9, 2010 at 12:45 am #54879Ratchet525Memberoh yeah! This is awesome:
Sony and Panosonic worked together to make blu-ray discs that can hold up to 34 gbs on a single layer! (it was 25gb before). So that means for us Ps3 owners, BIGGER AND BETTER GAMES. Image….Uncharted 3. All we need is a simple firmware update.

9.4 GB isn't really much good considering that most multiplat developers cant even fill a 25 GB disc.
At least the exclusives will be packed full of more awesomeness.

Well atleast the games will be better. But with a dev like Naughty Dog, im pretty sure they will be delighted to fill in the 2 layers of bluray (68 gbs). Insomniac, I want you to fill it full too! The next R&C and Resistance better be fcuking amazing.
