Has anyone else seen that report on IGN about Treyarch already working on CoD 7 & apparently it's in Vietnam! (but they didnt say that…)

It's Infinity Ward who makes the Modern Warfare installments. Treyarch have been working on “COD7″ since they finished COD5.

But anyways who cares about “COD7″, it's IW who makes the best installments

Wasn't there a rumor a while back saying Treyarch will not be making anymore COD games and that the rest of the COD franchise will be handled by Infinity Ward?

yeah but i dont think they went through with it so there still going game for game so it may have been just a rumour , admin is spot on IW definatley make the better of the 2

Agree with Admin 100%

To Ghost305 we can only wish that Iw takes ovre the cod ip solely.

As I said in another thread. Cod b4 Iw made a game was horrible. Cod5 made by treyarch was only decent cause they used Iw gameplay engine.

Modern Warfare was an incredible game. I never bought World at War because I was never a big fan of Treyarch's work. However, I did rent it a couple weeks ago and it was excellent. Blows all expectations away. Plus it has Kiefer Sutherland. How do you top that? Anyway, after playing WaW, I've come to the decision that Activision will not do wrong with Call of Duty games any longer. I'll be purchasing all future installments as long as it sticks to a one-a-year basis. If two a year start coming out, then you can count me out. For example, there's 6 Guitar Hero games coming out in 2009… how ridiculous is that?

cod 7 better be in vietnam as it is something different and a break from ww2. it will be developed by treyarch as activision get infinity ward to make one (MW2) then treyarch (COD 7) then infinity ward(COD 8) and so on…..

i would prefer it if it were just infinity ward making the games as i found cod4 to be just generally better than waw. there was a rumour going round that it would be just infinity ward making the games but they said that they wouldn't be able to make a game every year so they kept Treyarch

and 6 GUITAR HERO GAMES !!!!!!!!!! what are they then? ive only heard of Metallica and Greatist hits coming out so what are the other 4?

Guitar Hero Metallica/Van Halen are a nice addition to their franchise.

Guitar Hero 5 was expected (this better be good…)

Guitar Hero: Greatest Hits was kinda unnecessary. I mean, this game has songs from past GH games, and that was not needed.

Band Hero is unnecessary too. There's already a Guitar Hero 5, and both will be the same.

DJ Hero… IMO, this game will suck. A lot.

At least Hamonix won't screw up the Rock Band franchise, I hope. Can't wait for The Beatles.

you sure its vietnam since a spokseman for treyarch said something along these line “their were many untold wars in world war 2 and we have only just started bringing their story out” now in my opinion and know this isnt the exact words but he did mention all this just in diffrent ways it seems that their still going to make world war 2 game but then he also said ” its now safe to move away from the world war 2 francise” so it also seems like he is quiting the ww2 story

ok cod7 ok but cod6 is not out so y do u care about cod7 i hope cod6 and 7 is going to be better then cod5 i love cod5 i love killing the souljas
