MemberGot the game on launch. Beat the game on Normal, played zombies (BEAST), and i'm currently level 41 in online. I have to say, good job Treyarch. I wasn't expecting this tbh. I have to say this is the best CoD up to date (beating CoD4 ;P). It fixed Mw2's ***NO PROFANE LANGUAGE PLEASE***'d up shit but I think there are a few problems in the online like the messed up party system and the spawn system sucks. The story is good too and im glad Treyarch put REAL cutscenes in the game unlike those stupid missions briefings. PLUS, we get to see the character and hear him!

However i dont like the fact there was no mission involving stealth/snipers except for one tiny bit of stealth theme for 5 mins, also the ending didnt have no epic finale, just a theme of revenge in a pretty meh way, build up, up too the end was good though. Just wish the game was more stealth (its a black ops team after all! you know, people who specialise in covert missions!), killing rooms of enemy, and the occaional escort mission, is kind of boring.

You don't play as Black Ops in the game, you play as SOG. The only time you play as Black Ops is when you play as Hudson, I think.

Agree with the zombies bit, but totally disagree with the storyline. Like seriously? He was in a prison where they brainwashed him? I'm sure that's always happening to the US army. I thought that was one of the most outlandish storylines I have ever seen. From what I've seen of the MP, the spawning does suck, especially in Nuketown. Me and 3 others were doing splitscreen and ended up spawning behind one another. And it was quite good the way you seen him this time.

well, in that case they shouldnt have used `black ops`as the name then….
invite system is the worst thing imo, please treyarch you had two years to fix this, what on earth were you doing in that time?…..

MemberGot the game on Sunday and im impressed. i didnt expect it to be so fun and addicitve. its so good being able to play online with a guest, im always playing with my brother. the zombies is AMAZING. i havent tried the campaign yet, ill probably start it soon. The main problem with the game is there is way toooooo much lag and glitches online. i thought they said there were going to be dedicated serevers???

MemberThey have dedicated servers, and always have had with all console based CODs (4, WaW and MW2). It's the PC versions that have never had dedicated servers until BO.

the constant lag, is partly because of the new in game friends list they've done, its constantly downloading info on your friends stats, creat a quick new account wth no friends try one game, and voila pretty much no lag! unless a duff host. We do need an update to sort it out, as at the moment, to make the game more tolerable, i've had to go through my friends list deleting loads of randoms….

MW2 has had dedicated servers on PC, but CoD4, WaW, and BO have the other thing lol

also, ive only came across a long period of lag once, and that was yesterday. had a few connection interrupteds tho, but host migration sorts it out.
overall its been impressive even for how good i'd thought it'd be, campaign (so far), zombies and MP all to a great standard.

It's all wrong. I can't connect to anyone, it just tries to connect for about 30 secs then says 'This Game Session is no longer available'. I had this problem on WaW aswell, but i didn't once have it on MW2. Trust treyarch not to sort their servers out… And congrats with the host migration lol, it never when it happens to me…
The game is decent enough though. Not breathtaking, just decent…
@Ratchet. The PC versions of CoD always had player-created and player-hosted servers, which was why most games were noscoping, snipers only etc. It was one of the biggest complaints about WaW PC version.

Im pretty sure its not.
and Knoxie, idk how the party system isn't messed up for you. You're probably just lying because I've heard numerous complaints about it. Like for example, I get an invite and I try to join, but sometimes it would kick me back to the main menu and tell me that its either unavailable or an error. also, the game seems to kick everyone in the party 99.9% of the time when you exit a lobby.

MemberYou're right, Gev. When you try to change lobbies, the party almost always gets kicked. And, when you're in a bigger party there are more problems. After 5 attempts, I got the 'Date night' trophy with one of my friends with me. When I was trying to change the lobby with 6 of my friends, none of them came with me. The party got disbanded.
When we try to get into matches with bigger parties it pretty much never puts us all in.
