I think Sony should do what Mirosoft is doing and force all game dev to add it to there games, we all enjoy getting something for finishing a game and having a little bit of bragging rights to show off.
While i think COD5 will not be that great (few friends are beta testing now) i do think that trophies are needed and should be added and this all comes down to Sony forcing it like MS has.

yeah your right, all ps3 games should have trophies, then i'll have something fun to do on my ps3 RIGHT now…and the games would have good replay value.
