!!SPOILER!!
why was Price locked up in prison i dont get that?
November 24, 2009 at 11:33 pm #50926W4RG34R3D_SN1P3RMemberI doubt Gaz was ghost . I mean i dont think they would just kill him off without telling us atleast . They just did it to screw with our minds .
Price was in jail for Treason against Russia or something like that . Didnt pay to much attention but it does tell you . It has something to do with the end of CoD4 , the destruction caused .
November 25, 2009 at 1:55 am #50935W4RG34R3D_SN1P3RMemberSorry about the double post , but i was searching the web and found something on Ghost .. his real name . The website said his name was Sgt . Simon Riley .

November 25, 2009 at 11:37 am #50970xxKnightmarExxMemberPrice was in 'The Gulag' because it is the place where the military sends all the soldiers that have commited acts agaisnt a country or any other serious crime, that they are unable to kill because of there role in the military. Although I have no idea why he is in there…and if it has something to do with the events of CoD4 then i'm suprised that he's there and Soap isn't.
P.S: Wasn't it a 'priceless' moment when Soap gave back Price his handgun.
hehe priceless =P

Yeah it was the same exact one he blasted Zakhaev with . ” This belongs to you sir “
Also notice when price says ” Soap ? ” one of the other soldiers reacts ” Whos Soap ? “
November 25, 2009 at 2:37 pm #50978Antony19MemberThe endings of all COD are very good but the Radec in killzone 2 is very easy to kill him if you know the way. And also killzone 2 was one of the most difficult games that i have play (with ARMAII). To complete the killzone 2 in Elite difficulty it took me around a month

November 25, 2009 at 3:19 pm #50983BigWoopMagazineMemberI've been holding back for a while now on this, until everyone had a chance to finish the game, and then kinda forgot in the meantime… but now that you guys bring it up.
:::::SPOILER WARNING::::: :::::SPOILER WARNING::::: :::::SPOILER WARNING:::::
The ending, in every way, was as epic as could be. The chase was great, the fight was great, the knife in the eye, beautiful. Ok, that said… There a HUGE point that everyone seems to forget. What the ***NO PROFANE LANGUAGE PLEASE*** happened to Makarov?! The entire game is about hunting this guy down (lets not forget the airport scene where we blatently let him go after hes right in our sights), he starts an international war, kills thousands of civilians, but oh, General Sheperd betrayed us, forget Makarov, we're just gonna get him. Bullshit! This campaign was short as hell, and clearly unfinished at 5 hours in length. They didn't even bother to wrap up the story. Yeah, Sheperd is out of the way, but there's still work to do. Dammit this is IW milking the cow. Now they can set up for another 5 hour sequel and sell it at full price, since all the sheep out there are happy with paying full price for a short game thats really just some tweeks on the old one. There should have been AT LEAST one or two more missions hunting down Makarov. Doesn't this piss anyone else off?
End Spoiler.

About Makarov you are right but i didnt by the game for the single player but for the multiplayer
November 25, 2009 at 5:22 pm #50985BigWoopMagazineMember@Antony – right, most people did, but this thread is about the endings, which means its about the single player. Also, to me the multiplayer is an extension of a game. Single player is the core experience, its the anchor, the motivation to shoot these people, its the gauntlet. I like running the gauntlet, I like a good story, and I hate when loose ends are left open.
Games and movies have been doing this a lot lately and its pissing me off, cause its just a gimmick to set up for a sequel. Finish the damn story, if they want to make a sequel, make up a new story. Dammit.
November 25, 2009 at 7:18 pm #50813laikaMemberyeah , that is true

If you still want to know wht ever happened to Markarov you never truly do find him after the Airport incident . Notice how he gives Sheperds location away through intercom to Price so hes clearly in hiding . I do agree , i mean they couldve added another hour to the game and end the series once and for all , just a way of milking it . But then again im not complaining , i must say Price is now one of my favourite video game characters of all time , and i just cant get enough of those little epic scenes in the whole franchise altogether ( Rooftops in Rio , Snowmobile chase , ending ofcourse , and so on )
Infinity Ward can care less as well , i mean they're having fun , we're having fun , and when the fans say they're tired of the whole Modern Warfare they'll just pick up a new idea and make millions off that .
