CodWAW Servers/Connection issues

I'm posting this to see if anyone is having/or has ever had connection issues on CodWAW, because I'm getting quite annoyed with the amount that I'm having. Anyone here:

Not been able to complete challenges, thus not being able to get any gun attachments

Got the “Couldn't find free content pack index” error, thus sometimes not being able to complete a game

Not being able to connect to certain friends

Not being able to level up, until you try about 5 times

Getting minus XP needed to level up

Having all your leaderboard stats temporarily put to 0/0.00

And recently, not being able to join a Team Deathmatch, for some odd unknown reason.

Yes, this is my current error list. I am having each of these errors at the moment (Except the leaderboard one, which I did have some few months back), before some would just come and go, and hopefully will totally go soon. Anybody else having these problems? or can anyone add to the list?

i got those, but instead of minus needed to lvl up i got minus after a deathmatch with no sucides, and about 2.0 k/d ratio

I havent played cod waw myself but this really does sound familiar from my days with cod4. almost all the problems that xerothegreat mentioned happened on modern warfare. It seems that its just all the cod games as well. its also the same on xbox as i have seen on my friends console

I think your luck compared to what i have got- one day when i was 3rd prestige level 19 i decided to create a type 99 class with stopping power, steady aim, bazooka, colt, frag and tebun gas. all was ok until i level up and decided to attach my newly obtained bipod for my type 99. i clicked on the tupe 99 class and was greeted with an error and was kicked into the barracks page i go back to the create-a-class and i found out that i have unlocked every gun, perk (yes even the flamethrower) and challenge (most of which were completed) i still have everything, now at first my initial reaction was `sweet ownage time` but now im level 38 and bored to death :_( Has happened to anyone else? does anyone know a `cure`? any help would be much appreciated (PSN id:kingofgames73) sorry if i was a bit to detailed just want to know if i might have done something wron….
Also another problem i used to have before the above `glitch` was when i go to choose a class in a match the menu freezes all my classses dissappear and the only class i have is this one where- primary gun=colt secondary gun=colt special grenade=colt primary grenade=colt all perks=none they all dissapear

all the problems stated (except for king of game’ problems (sorry)) are all on COD4. really got 2 me

Hmmm thinking about getting contact with treyarch…………….anyway i have never had any problems with CoD4 except when sometime you accept an invite or try to get in a game and DOWNLOADING GAME SETTINGS…… pops up for around 20mins btw to get rid of this simply reboot ur router

I get the 'Downloading game settings' thing it takes the piss… But i think this is because i have alot and i mean alot of wireless devices connected to one crapy wireless box (the list would be huge) also whenever im playing fps games except R2 (for some reason) i have extremely bad lagg, but the weird thing is if i cant hit them how come they can hit me?

Yeah how could we get in contact with Treyarch? I mean so we'll actually get heard, unlike my nice emails asking nicely for help, which probably get put in their spam folders. Any ideas guys??? Maybe like a “Mass email protest” lmao.

Oh and Ps3 freak, my router (wireless box) is right above my head, plugged into my ps3 (which is right by me too), and has just my computer connected to it.

Treyarch made cod 3 and had problems on there i would of thought they learnt from their first mistake i hope modern warfare 2 hasnt the same effects though its the same team who done cod 4 so should be better gameplay and connection

Anyone here played the new 007 game…? i must say i dont know what servers they are useing but there GOOD! i had like one bar of connection and yh at some points it was slightly laggy but atleast if i shot someone they would actuly die…

btw its made by treyarch for those of you who think this is a bit off topic…

Ooh, here's a new one (to me anyway). After a game, it says how much XP you earned, but on the total XP needed to level up bar, it doesn't count towards it (Basically, you can't actually earn XP.) Yep, It's happened to me.

Lol, you guys probably think i have the worst connection ever. Yep, i do.

Anyone else ever had this problem? How did you fix it?

I have had these problems…but now its fixed (More or less)….

I was on a supposed tiscali 8mb connection, but due to 'annoying' download limits etc. it turned out to be less more often that not.

Because of this, as well as other things, we changed over to a virgin 20mb connection, which although not perfect by a long way, does provide a quicker, more reliable service, and seems 2 have solved the problem

Altho its stopped thiese problems, i have noticed whenever i seem 2 be lumbered with server duty, when counting down until game starts it always loses connection

But still, works hope it helps

Well, what a coincidence. I'm on a Tiscali 8MB broadband package, which is complete waffle also. I regularly run speed tests, and the fastest i've seen it go is about 5 megs, but average nowadays is around 512KBs (Half a meg)

Message to all thinking of changing ISPs: DONT GO TO TISCALI. Stay WELL AWAY.
