sell well……. does it really matter? I hope 2k doesnt become a Nintendo with Bioshock. Meaning: only thing that matters if it sells well, we can make a really crappy game and it will do good.

If Bioshock 2 sells well (which it will) and it sucks shit, people will not be interested in a Bioshock 3. I'm sure it will be as awesome as the first oneand that Bioshock turns into an awesome series. I just they dont drag on the story.

Bioshock has one of the best story lines, MGS has hands down the best.

you forget though, bioshock sold very well to begin with because it was such a good game. 😀

im confident the second will be just as good.

theres always the old tricks : set it Xyears before episode 1 , in the future , whatever…

shade: i meant bioshock was cool , but whether or not a new one comes out wont change my life , theres plenty of good FPS's out there , and the lil'girl thing is just wrong , lol. im sure i'll grab the new one but i wont be shaking in anticipation until then….its a great game, but a FPS is only as good as the last FPS out.

i think the BioShock 2 should bea sequel not a prequel because BioShock 1 already wrapped up the story and there's nothing more to give a story to…

how bout BioShock 2 be about Little Sisters and how hot they've become when they reach their 18's? XD

actually they could easily have a prequel. and they could easily have two versions of a sequel being made from the ending you chose. if you chose to stay and rule, or leave to go up home etc. there is loads of stuff they could do.

Alright, let's go with the possibility of 6 Bioshock's.

Bioshock 1

Bioshock 2 (5 years after Bioshock 1)

Bioshock 3 (5 years after Bioshock 2)

Skip forward 50 years to 2010 and the Rapture programme is reinvented in the modern day.

Bioshock 4 (Set it 2010)

Bioshock 5 (Set in 2015)

Bioshock 6 (Set in 2020)

Two different time lines, they could keep it going similar to that. Not to mention the previously mentioned prequel. Suppose you could play an original test subject of the Rapture programme?

lol drug bug…..

i kinda remember story, but i cared more about the gameplay then the story, although it was excellent, the gameplay is what stood out more.
