I personally can't wait for this game… I can even remember when it was only a rumor. And as for the first game… Awesome!!
I only picked up Demons Souls for a bet… I used to play FPS/Sand-box style games, my only RPG experience was Fallout… To see if i could Plat. one of the so-called hardest RPG's, at it's time, available on the Ps3… Or even just beat the first boss!!
200+hours, many months, the most 'grinding' i've ever done and epic amounts of stress later I actually beat it!! I gave up on Maneater for about 6months and i don't think I would've beaten the Flame lurker without MP help… Then having the joy of actually beating the Flame Lurker smashed 10sec later by the Dragon God Killing that annoying spider on my 100th time, only 1million arrows later The PBWT/PWWT on top of Char. tendency and the various NPC's that would appear relevant to those tendency
I could talk about Demons souls all day, it's def. a fav game of mine, perhaps because I spent so much time with it?
Here's the Gamescom trailer to watch first – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GuG4FZNnuBA
Basic trailer showing some of the basic enemies…
This is the 'Bartholomew trailer' – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AjH56nmHhsw
It shows a few more of the 'high end' enemies, wasn't sure about the music to start with but the vid. soon made me forget about it…
This is the TGS complete 'Prologue' trailer – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yopt1hJtzQU
I wouldn't be surprised if this is, or is part of, the game intro?
And everything I've been reading about the game seems to be good so far
The fact that it's more open world is appealing, although it obviously makes getting from A to B and having a spy on everything a little more perilous… Having to play through the level over and over simply to find the right path is plain evil… A labyrinth style level would be amazing and awful at the same time
The enemy variation, going by the videos, seem decent… The regular 'cannon-fodder' are there but with more 'mini-boss battles'… Including 'mini-mini-boss battles'… Finally beaten only to reach the boss battle… And die
And although i wasn't that hooked on the idea to start with, the whole campfire thing seems alright… No herbs just a flask if i remember correct?? Replenished at the campfire along with a new check point… But the enemies revive and you're pretty much starting the level fresh but at a, possibly, more advantageous start point I'm wondering if it's limited or i can just save however many times i like… And if there are other ways, other than magic, to replenish health??

This does have a few spoilers… of sorts…
I wouldn't be surprised if this had PvP arenas… Can't wait…
Anyone else getting this?? I'll be looking for some co-op help… All the help i can get if this is anything like Demons Souls
