MemberHaven't seen any topics about this yet or even people on my friends list playing it. Which is a crime because this is the best PSN title I've played in a while.
It looks great and plays better. Top down Zombie shooters are nothing new but this one has been done really well. A good selection of massively upgradable weapons and armour gives constant incentive to search for hidden loot and the variety of enemies keeps you on your toes.
I've finished my first playthrough on co-op (as ever with the indomitable Mojo) and what's great with one is awesome with two. Everything you kill/collect is given to you both (including trophy requirements) so there's no rushing to grab a crate or stress over getting the highest kill count. You can comfortably work together and watch each other's backs.
Even the leaderboards are well thought out. I normally don't bother with them in PSN games but I'm enjoying seeing how much I'm contributing to the Irish war on zombiedom.

MemberTotaly agree. fantastic game, good variety of enemies, weapons both offensive and tactically defensive. lighting is cool, some comedy with the clown zombies. ONE MAJOR GRIPE!!!!! Why the FOOK can we not use headsets???????????????? AM I DOING SOMETHING WRONG???????? CO OP GAMES SHOULD HAVE HEADSET USE. SORT IT PLEASE. Other than that it's the BEST £10 you can spend on PSN. AND it has platinum.

MemberNo head-sets is a bit of a blunder. I didn't notice because myself and Mojo were playing in the same room so we didn't need them.

MemberWhat's Alien Breed 2 like? Was the first one any good?
Just started DN on Grim difficulty. 'Grim' certainly described the mood after myself and Mojo got annihilated on level 2. I can't imagine how hard some of the later levels are going to be or what 'Morbid' and 'Undead' are going to be like!

hehe
I want to give this game a good go with a partner that will stick around for the whole campaign. Any of u guys interested? It will be from start to finish on any difficulty in order to obtain the coop trophy (maybe medium difficulty since I'm not well versed in this game) and then I also need the one bronze trophy where we complete a mission without dying

Member@ Agent
I'm more than willing to lend you a hand since I really enjoyed my time with the game and I occasionally lend a hand to fellow APTer's when they're in the mood. Does normal work fine? 'Cause doing the other difficulties on co-op certainly boosts the difficulty to another planet. Just ask gr8jrfan
