This was just announced today as an exclusive to the Capcom store. It's MSRP is $89.99, but chances are, this will sell out and end up going for lots more. If you're interested in poker and all the other goodies included, I'd say this would be a pretty good investment. Plus, you get the opportunity to win a 6 foot tall zombie statue! Check it out:

I bought the Hardened Edition of that game and after ultimately being disappointed with game, I sold it and lost money on it. MW2 wasn't nearly as amazing as the original MW.
It's not often that I actually dish out the cash for CE's and LE's anymore. I bought the CE for God of War III last and I was HUGELY disappointed. The Pandora's Box was cheap piece of crap, and all you received with it besides that and the game was a bunch of DLC. I ended up keeping the game and DLC and selling the box for $70 on eBay. Not too shabby. I ended up getting my game and DLC for $30 if you think about it.
The only ones in my collection now are Metal Gear Solid 4 (because Snake and Kojima are gods), Stranglehold (for the Blu-ray copy of Hard Boiled) and Mortal Kombat Vs. DC Universe (I've always been a sucker for MK special editions). I recently bought two more because I got them for good deals. I picked up the Resistance 2 CE for $19.99 and Aliens Vs. Predator for $30.00 (I had to get that facehugger, and that steelbook is just sexy).
I pre-ordered the LittleBigPlanet 2 CE because of the Sackboy stuffie (my girlfriend is ecstatic for that) and the sweet bookends. That's really all I have and/or want for CE's/LE's at the moment. I'm sure I'll get a few more next year, though. If the new Mortal Kombat has one, I'll definitely buy it. I'll also pick up CE's of Metal Gear Solid: Rising and The Last Guardian is they're available. That's it, really.
I AM tempted to buy this just to re-sell it for double the price, though. Like I said, it'll most likely be a good investment. Just look at the Dead Space and Mirror's Edge CE's that were exclusive to the EA site. I think I saw the Dead Space one going for over $300 on eBay a couple months ago. That's NUCKING FUTS!!!
August 27, 2010 at 11:36 pm #65914GHOST305MemberProbably the only other CE's/LE's I'll get will be the New Vegas and the GT5 one and thats probably it. But, there will need to be some convincing.

BTW, this is in MY OPINION so if u do like special editions of games dont cry over my post and ruin another thread

Honestly, I agree with you on the waste of money part…However I can say that I have used my NVG's plenty of times outside when me and my brother would play with our pellet guns and fight each other. Must say…HUGE ADVANTAGE!!!
August 28, 2010 at 12:39 am #65920jenkem_addict88MemberYa they probobly wont produce but like a 1000 of these, so if you were to buy it and never open it, as so you can have a SEALED IN BOX COPY of something that less then 1000 of was made, then a few years (wait at least 10) down the road, your gonna be able to sell this to a collector on ebay for AT LEAST 10X your investment, if not more. imagine If you had a complete in box stadium games for the nes, let alone a sealed copy, beacuse one doesnt exist. (less than 20 cib copys are known for this game, with about 600 total made) So if you can find and afford SE's like this exclusive from developers websites, and never open it, you could VERY pheasably be the ONLY person in the world with a sealed copy.(assuming not many copies were made…) And if you have a one of a kind item, it becomes incredably valuable. Just a thought from a broke collector who wishes he could get this lolAugust 28, 2010 at 2:03 am #65922parnakasMemberRKF95 said:

lol the night vision goggles are pretty stupid if you ask me, but I think the plushies and some of the figurines are worth it.
I agree though, I think most CE are pointless, except for the MGS4 one, which came with a PS3 headset = something very useful.
Also, the LBP CE is totally worth it for me. Everybody wants a sackboy plush. Don't lie to yourself
Also, this CE sounds kinda dumb, unless you are gonna do what Tridon said, and re-sell it for double. Smart thinking. Other than that, I couldn't really see a point of it.

lol…temptation is hard to resist!!!!! The sackboy is cool and all, but I didn't really play the first Little Big Planet unless a bunch of friends were around. Now it sits on my shelf gathering dust

lol, I remember pullin all nighters with my friends playin LBP, theres nothing funner then smackin ur friends sackboy off a platform on ur last try 2 reach a checkpoint at 3 in the morning
But I never really had the urge 2 play it by myself, and I never could get into the level creator
August 28, 2010 at 2:41 am #65927GHOST305MemberThose are the trophies that bother me…The ones where everyone online in LBP has to heart and friend you in order to get the trophy…I was never good at levels and just eventually gave up. Part of the reason why LBP2 is not really on my “must buy” list.
August 29, 2010 at 9:18 pm #66000I773D33MABL3MemberI already have the Zombrex and Outbreak editions on order so this is bloody tempting. I like “completeness “…
