November 20, 2009 at 10:05 pm #50564gow2rulesMemberi'm suprised at just how reliable the wii is
also good to see ps3 is more reliable compared to the 360 which is prone to dying
November 20, 2009 at 10:27 pm #50565NinjacatMemberMicrosoft should have stuck to software.
November 20, 2009 at 10:36 pm #50566BigWoopMagazineMemberA recent issue of Game Informer had a similar survey (not sure if it was an actual random sample or not, but I think it was a sampling of subscribers) and came up with very similar numbers. Xbox was ~58%, PS3 ~16%, and Wii was less than 10%, I think ~8%. This is from memory, I'd have to find the mag for actual numbers, but I remember showing it to a friend who was debating between xbox and ps3 for a new console. After seeing that and the price drop that soon followed, he chose the PS3 (yay another friend to play online with!). I may have dropped $600 fat bills when PS3 first came out, but when I think about how many times I would have had to get a new xbox by now, that alone makes the decision well worth it. I don't have a single friend who owns an xbox that hasn't broke at least once.
November 20, 2009 at 11:45 pm #50578Ratchet525Membereveryone already knew the 360 has the most death percent
November 21, 2009 at 12:02 am #50581CoryAllenMemberyes but to see the statistics is ggreat lol. i'm gonna show that to so many of my friends! they always say 360s are better. after that they're gonna feel dumb lol
November 21, 2009 at 5:55 am #50604shadeblackParticipant60% is atrocious.
reason why I'll only ever get a 360 is for a couple games, however, these figures alone continue to put me off.
To Microsoft.
please, make a better console.
your friend,
kyle.

November 21, 2009 at 12:49 pm #50612Antony19MemberIs any of you guys had that problem on PS3
November 21, 2009 at 1:58 pm #50617parnakasMemberA thing about the Wii..
i think the reason it has such a small percentage of failure, is because it is not a very powerful system. It barely uses any power. The 360 and PS3 are next gen systems, powerhouses. Using a lot of power to operate, really pushing themselves to the limit, whereas the Wii, barely gets pushed to any limits.. kinda gay.
thats just my opinion any way.

barely, i think only Knoxie and 2 other guys have got it.. not that much people get it, thankfully.
November 21, 2009 at 7:49 pm #50645Domba_carMemberNo PS3 Slim has got YLOD yet, I read that at a gaming magazine. I agree with Parnakas, Wii uses like 20% of how much PS3 does, and still has faliures, lol.

yeah and the ps3 is the best system out there but 360 has a bigger failure rate (should be the other way around kinda)
so fail microsoft
November 21, 2009 at 11:08 pm #50661edge4eva32MemberI agree the ps3 is much better, and I am in the unlucky few that have had to repair my ps3 2 times for the same problem. the blu ray drive keep crashing. it wouldnt read any discs whatsoever. i ultimately repaired it the last time, then sold it on ebay with some stuff, and went to buy a new ps3 but now with 4 years of coverage (sony+squaretrade). now i am worry free playing ps3 hours upon hours. ahhh, the good life
