it's up to the game developers to include them… but sony can usually force them to by exploiting them.

I think they should wether by force or just developers choice because it would give a lot of extra replay value and to my needs i really, really need a new game with trophies so why not have an old game get updated with trophies 😉

because time is money, and game developers don't want to spend time on a patch for old game. the chances are, they can get more money by spending time on new games with trophies, rather than patching older games.

although it sucks, looking on the grander side of things – if time is money and companies obide by this (which they do), then it means they are working hard to give us quality entertainment for the future, rather than delivering the same stuff for games in the past.

it's a bad thing. but also a great thing 🙂

Yeah but GTA4 isn't any “old game”, it's the most sold ps3 game to date 🙂
