i wasnt refering to babels goals.. he is a striker but played as a winger, like kuyt.. why they dont score, torres wouldnt score if he was played wide.. babel has pace, skill, good 1st touch and a good passer of the ball.. he deserves more game time
and i was just saying babels 2 goals are nothing. i know hes a winger, its obv. i never said he should score but his 1st touch is PATHETIC, and his control lacks so bad, his shooting is pretty bad, but he does possess some skill and pace i guess. i think hes also canny clumsy and tackling isnt that good. maybe if he played him more since when he signed him and trained him better then he would be much better. benitez just isnt a good manager imo.

I agree with you that Babel has all those things but for me he doesn't work hard enough. Sometimes more important than attacking for a winger is to get back and help out your full back. I have seen Benayoun track back a lot more than Babel.

October 5, 2009 at 7:22 pm #44909iiDiNkStErRMemberLiverpool lose again!!!
They definately miss alonso no doubt, not even mascherano can replace him.
October 5, 2009 at 7:52 pm #44912pool96MemberI am starting to agree that maybe we are missing Alonso even when I didn't expect us to. All credit to Mascherano who had a brilliant game except for the one mistake where he gave the ball away and Chelsea scored. Cut him some slack I've been in that position before.

so have i and its not really hard, compared to other positions like the wings and fullbacks which require LOADS of work. chelsea fully deserved the win tbh and another beautiful performance by arsenal!
ahhhhh i just wish sunderland hammered manu, if only richardson didnt get sent off!
October 5, 2009 at 9:19 pm #44922iiDiNkStErRMemberyou cant really cut any player any slack if they arent performing. They should probably try a different tactic or something that suits other players.
I dont think pool will make the top 4 this season, thats spurs or man cities to fill.
Im glad real madrid lost though, shows that even madrid miss ronaldo although they shouldnt, their defence is appaling though so they can expect to let in a lot of goals.
October 5, 2009 at 9:28 pm #44925KnoxieMemberi dont think pool will make top 4 either, man city look good, and so do spurs.
if chelsea beat wigan i would have no problem thinking they would win the prem by the looks but i really cant say they will because of the 3-1 to wigan, although they did look good against pool yesterday and they barely played there best. so it all comes back down to how manu will do in the upcoming weeks.
bit off topic but.. madrid have flippin £130,000,000 on FIFA 10!!!!!!!!!!! lol
October 5, 2009 at 9:54 pm #44928iiDiNkStErRMemberthe thing against wigan was that i think that they just couldnt really be bothered. playing a team like wigan they were porbs thinking “ha good luck!” and just lost desire to play that day.
I still think titles between chelski & united + i hope that villa keep there lead against city right now, so ironic how dunne rose above barry to get the goal.
back to the off topicness…
the only thing i really spend money on is the stadium & player fitness, after that i usually dont buy a player until i've won the champions league…
city have £90,000,000! lol well at least its more realistic than last year.
October 6, 2009 at 8:04 am #45003gow2rulesMemberunexpected draw with man city and aston villa today but all credit to man city coming back from a goal down to salvage a point
hopefully everton defeat wolves when they vrs them but at least they are top of their table in the europa league undefeated

I mean in the position of your only mistake costing your team the game. He played brilliantly all game and it was just this one thing that effectively cost us the game.
