Sorry to say this mate, but you haven't got a hope of winning anything with that team. You haven't won the Premier League in 20 years and you haven't won the Eufa Cup since 2001, so what thinks you can do it now when you can't beat Aston Villa.

Okay looks like I have to step in here. We're out of the Champions League, but I honestly believe that if not for that late Lyon equaliser we would have gone through. We need stability, we need to stop using all 3 subs every game because someone gets injured. Plus Liverpool go through a bad run most years in November.

@Knoxie – What's wrong with N'Gog? For a young lad I think he's a hard worker and every game is improving him and with Torres as a mentor I think in a few years he will be a great player.

ngog is pretty good, but his dive against Birmingham to get a penalty was sheer criminal. Awful, awful bit of cheating, but then again what team doesn't have the occasional diver!

well, n'gog up front on his OWN mostly, what you gonna get out of that? i know he'd be better with torres obv but torres isnt having the fittest of seasons so i think you'll find it hard to score goals and voronin was rip-off even at £0. this is not including the defence…

you see the team last season was much better, and its not nice to say it but it looks alot like yous arent a top 4 team anymore..

We're not a top 4 team but we're a top 4 squad. When everyone's fit and on form there's very few teams in the whole world that would beat us. Alonso was a huge loss, still waiting to see more of Aquilani, Torres and Gerrard are alternatingly getting injured injuries are also tearing our defence to shreds, having a bit of bad luck aswell. Strength in depth has been a problem for the past few years.

i agree 100% saying alonso was a BIG loss he created most of our attacks Aquilani needs to play more.

you cant really say that coz i could just say, if chelsea were all fit & in form they'd hammer yous, as well as manu, arsenal, and maybe even man city once they get some chemistry. and thats just in the prem, imo.

also, no offence but also insua is TERRIBLE. and it looks like babel wont get a chance either and he shouldnt tbh bcoz he is either good (rarely) or absolutely crap for a team as good as pool.

Liverpool's main problem is simple. Benitez.

His decisions of late seem awful, like the fact aquilani is now fit but doesnt play him until 88th minute or putting benayoun on the left. Insua isnt great either, aurelio would definately be a better choice.

Insua needs time he's only in his early twenties. There are rumours that Barcelona are going to come in with a 30 million bid for mascherano. I would bite there hands off. Bite there hands off then use the money to buy Villa. So my team would then be:
                                                     Reina

                  Johnson            Carragher        Skrtel       Insua

                 Benayoun          Gerrarrd          Aquilani     Aurelio

                                                  Villa

                                                Torres

I think the Insua/Aurelio partership here makes everyone happy, I just want to see him get game time because I know he will get better and Aurelio can mentor him and help out when he's not attacking. Despite how Liverpool are playing if I was Villa I would join them if I had a choice. The chance for him to be partnered with Torres all the time would tear most defences to shreds.

i can tell you pool wouldnt get villa. especially not for £30 mill. i wouldnt pay even £20 mill for mascherano although he is okay.

i dont really rate aurelio either tbh, hes quite shaky and backs off tackles etc.. pool could do with a full new left side and i prefer agger to skrtel coz hes too clumsy. this is just my opinion!
