i can tell you pool wouldnt get villa. especially not for £30 mill. i wouldnt pay even £20 mill for mascherano although he is okay.
i dont really rate aurelio either tbh, hes quite shaky and backs off tackles etc.. pool could do with a full new left side and i prefer agger to skrtel coz hes too clumsy. this is just my opinion!
Liverpool have been buying new left wingers nearly every transfer window, we need stability. Mascherano is brilliant at his job, if you need someone to protect a defence, Mascherano is the man for that job, NOT for making driving runs from midfield and scoring goals.
Complete contradiction but Liverpool are now 1-0 up on Everton (30 mins) scored by Masherano.

i wouldnt go as far as saying he does his job brilliant, hes good not particularly outstanding.
btw, i thought it was a yobo O.G and kuyt?
November 30, 2009 at 2:55 am #51383ScottSummers1MemberImo, Liverpool are an average team.
They were on poor form and got lucky against Man U.
Here's how it went. Not a win in 6 games, beat Man U, 3-1 loss to Fulham.
People can brag all they want about Liverpool's 18 League Titles but it wasn't Kuyt, Torres and Gerrard that won them. It's been 20 years since they won the League and they won't be winning it while Rafa's Manager. End rant.

lol ur pretty critical of our team but wat u have to remember is we constantly finish top 4 and usually ( except this year ) are excellent in europe… at least we play in the premiership unlike some
and as for mascherano he cant be all bad considering barcelona the european champion’s want him plus better than having a thug that is joey barton playing 4 usNovember 30, 2009 at 6:17 pm #51404KnoxieMemberFinch_92 said:

haha!
a question for you:
will you finish in the top 4 this year? NO.
and ahh i cant ask this 1, so instead:
will yous win the europa league? i dont think so.
and as far your snidey comment:
will we be back in the prem next year? YEP.
we'll probs finish above yous by then lol, and i dont really care what you say but barton is a good player.
November 30, 2009 at 6:37 pm #51408iiDiNkStErRMemberMascherano isnt in barca's eyes, that was most likely tabloid sh*t. They have yaya toure & keita and also sergio busquets for that role.
FA Cup draw was pretty awesome… Fulham vs Swindon!!!
Im gonna beg my dad to go to craven cottage, but im not expecting too much.
December 1, 2009 at 6:25 pm #51464KnoxieMemberyeah i'd rather have yaya toure and keita anyways tbh. i always have been a big fan of yaya.
plymouth v newcastle.. great !

i'm just glad it was worth getting up at 6.50am to watch the game looked like chelsea would score near the end and by god i swore when saha penalty was saved but at least he scored again in the end

Moyes' first victory over Chelsea. Almost makes up for losing the Cup Final.

to be honest i think the game between man city and liverpool at the weekend will show who will be in the top 4. my guess is 1. chelsea 2 man u 3 arsenal 4 man city… or man city 3rd. come on man city
February 11, 2010 at 12:39 am #57473NinjaMidgetMemberJoey Barton may be a good player, but he is disgraceful on the pitch and shows no respect for other players. However, Newcastle will most likely be in the premiership next season and I think they deserve to be despite Barton.
Can't believe we got a draw against Villa tonight, although Chelsea lost so we're still nipping at their heels!

Joey Barton is not a good player, hes a cu*t who is about 2 strikes away from jail
February 11, 2010 at 6:12 pm #57509KnoxieMemberjoey barton is a good player. hes sorted it most of his unprofessional behaviour out now.
top 4 looks like: 1st manu 2nd chelsea 3rd arsenal 4th man city now, but who knows…
