Shitting myself atm. Barton has an announcement to make regarding his future at 4pm…
Really hope he's not leaving, hope it's just a twitter ban.
Edit: Unbelievable… You don't understand how down I am right now

It's partly true though. With that fat cockney bastard running the club and his puppet Pardew controlling the team we'll never get back to being a successful top 6 team.
No surprise that Barton has many teams after him. Good luck to him when he leaves, served the club well, and tbh, I hope he tells us what's going on at the Toon.
August 2, 2011 at 3:37 pm #70346Kieeeraaan. LMemberHarry, please don't wait until deadline day to sign someone. There will be nobody left to sign. We need a new striker (A GOOD one), and another central defender. We have to sell before we can buy, SO STOP OVERPRICING our players. Nobody is going to pay £9m for Crouch! We complain about having to sign Scott Parker, a good old player, for £12m+, and then we try and sell Crouch, a bad old player, for £9m!

I may be wrong but I don't think HR uses this site. You may want to try ps3trophies.org

August 9, 2011 at 5:04 pm #70379KnoxieMemberLooks like things may actually be looking up at Newcastle. We've completed the signing of Obertan and Barton & Tiote are back in training!
August 12, 2011 at 4:12 pm #70416KnoxieMemberJust 1 more day! And the season ticket has finally arrived!!
Getting to watch The Toon every home game live is possibly the best decision of my life!
August 12, 2011 at 7:38 pm #70418pool96MemberI haven't posted on here in a while.
Knoxie the season ticket sounds cool but Newcastle will never reach their potential with Mike Ashley. Alan Pardew must be tearing his hair out. I thought he promised you the 35m from the Carroll sale would go into player recruitment? Ye also got 5.5m for Enrique, 4.5m for Nolan I think?
In return ye bought Cabaye for about 4.5m I think, signed a few on frees like Marveaux and extended a few contracts like Ameobi's but don't tell me that Newcastle spend that much on agent's fees and signing on fees. It annoys me what happens at Newcastle because their one of my favourite clubs and as a Liverpool fan I know all to well about struggles with owners.
Anyways good luck tomorrow against Arsenal I think ye have a great chance. No Fabregas, Nasri or Wilshere for the gunners. Even though ye lost key players I think ye made good signings, particularly Demba Ba. Over the course of a season though I think ye'll be battling to finish in the top 10.
Liverpool V Sunderland tomorrow, we're after buying Enrique. We have Aurelio who is one of the best left backs in the league but he's plagued by injuries so Enrique will get a lot of game time although I think Aurelio will start tomorrow. Skrtel, Gerrard and Johnson are injured. Meireles has had little pre-season with injury and Suarez is only just back from the Copa America so the team I would go with is this:
25. Reina
34. Kelly 23. Carragher (c) 5. Agger 6. Aurelio
21. Lucas 26. Adam
14. Henderson 15. Aquilani 19. Downing
9. Carroll
Subs:
32. Doni
38. Flanagan
3. Enrique
4. Meireles
11. Maxi
18. Kuyt
7. Suarez
August 13, 2011 at 2:54 pm #70419KnoxieMemberTotally agree! But I will always love Newcastle through the thick and thin and if that means giving a hundred quid to that fat cockney b*stard then so be it. Oh btw you forgot Obertan £3m. Hopefully we'll get the fullback Pieters in and Derdiyok/Bendtner before derby next week.
Pool have made some good signings like, Enrique definitely a bargain at £6m, he'll outplay Aurelio imo. I think yous will finish 5th, maybe sneaking 4th (depending on Arsenal & Spurs recruitments).
Anyways, good luck to everyones teams today!
August 14, 2011 at 12:10 am #70422KnoxieMemberDecent start to the season from my point of view. Love my seat as well, great atmosphere! Same old Arsenal, always cheating! (8)
August 15, 2011 at 5:41 pm #70441pool96MemberBit dissapointed after the draw with Sunderland but plenty of positives there I think. We were very good in the first half. Kieran Richardson I think deserved to be sent off Suarez was getting to that ball. Downing was really unlucky when he hit the crossbar that would have been an early contender for goal of the season. It was also harsh when Carroll's goal was disallowed. We fell apart a bit in the second half and Sunderland deserved the point in the end.
Newcastle looked good against Arsenal but never really looked like scoring. Gervinho was probably the best Arsenal player for me. I think Alex Song, Gervinho and Joey Barton all deserved to be sent off honestly.
The amount of draws in the league so far shows how thight it's going to be this year. Looking forward to it.
August 19, 2011 at 9:19 pm #70472KnoxieMemberDerby day tomorrow. Hopefully Shola will sink one in the Mackems net. Gutted there'll be no more chicken dance looking at the 5-1 last season!
Good luck to everyone elses teams.

Is that the thing about Senderos by any chance? Seen it the other day and posted it on twitter to Joey Barton himself, haha.
