DLC already confirmed – http://www.wouldyoukindly.com/…..ive-ending
Always good for Fallout… But everyone seems to be mentioning DLC before their games are even out nowadays?

September 18, 2010 at 2:35 am #66642GHOST305MemberWhy is there already DLC for this game when its not even out yet. IMO its an excuse for the company to charge you more $$$$. Very irritating

At least it's brand new content… Unlike other games that charge you for content on the disc, or worse still, charges you to unlock everything in the game… Rather than just play the actual game! What's that about, if not just for extra money??

This link has already been posted but I'm so moist over this game I lost interest in this game for a bit but watching that has just reminded me what i'm waiting for. Awesome
This may be obvious but i thought i'd mention it… Well, just because some people will have never played Fallout at a high difficulty setting as it wasn't needed for the Plat., and i know New Vegas isn't out for another 24 days or something… But I'm hyped about this game sooooo much
**The V.A.T.S system isn't just for aiming at the head… In the harder difficulty settings, or the new 'Hardcore' mode included in New Vegas, the point of V.A.T.S is to disable your opponent, so that he/she/it is ready for the kill; For an enemy with a gun it would be used to disable the firing arm, greatly reducing accuracy… For a fast meelee type enemy it would be used to disable a leg, greatly reducing speed… Robots the 'thingy' i can't remeber the name of, the chip bit…
You get the point… I say this as i had a friend who would use all his V.A.T.S points firing at the head then get mauled in the aftermath. Using V.A.T.S on an easier setting can make the game a 'cake walk'.
Pre-ordered the SE, love it, can't wait

I wouldn't worry too much about that. Just be aware of what the main story missions are and which ones will lock you into the ending sequence. Once you know that you'll know when to break off and start roaming the map to mop up anything you've missed.
I'm not too bothered by any changes they do or don't make to structure of the game. I'm just hoping for a smoother (read: less glitchy) play.

October 15, 2010 at 2:52 pm #67307Doc-BMemberI think the main prob. people had with the first game was the glitching/frame rate stutter… They would be crazy not to have address the situation.
Fallout:New Vegas = Epic
It's as simple as that!!

But the Vid. did make me laugh my ass off
October 20, 2010 at 11:35 pm #67466GHOST305MemberSadly it does glitch on me and the frame rate does drop a bit. I was expecting a little bit better job from this group of developers. Nevertheless, I like the game; but, it feels like Fallout 3 in Vegas with a few more weapon mods, perks, and more levels to grow.

lol…I chose both actually. I have one save file that I'm using for the quest and other trophies and enjoying the game. The other is for hardocre mode…and I'm just trying to survive on that one. lol How about you? Did you 'man up' lol?
October 22, 2010 at 2:57 pm #67488Doc-BMemberI had to 'man up' out my bed at bout 6.30am to get ready and into town for 9am because i didn't pre-order my CE And the 'guy' in the shop said if there were any spare it would be 'first come, first serve'.
I was second in the shop and got one of only 2 extra copies they got in for PS3 (#1107/6650) Shame i start work at 8am, lol… Little late today, lol
I think i'll def. go for 'hardcore' mode first… I know you can switch to 'little girl mode' if it gets too much for me, lol… How you finding HC anyways??
